It hurts when you were the one let go with children to feed and insurance to pay and you were the main bread winner. Novo did me very wrong in the displacement.

I have an amazing resume and I did land on my feet for 1/2 the pay. However, I was blessed to find a job.

No need to reply to my post, but I will never see Novo the same after what happened. If you knew my personal circumstances nor would you.

Agreed, it was an awesome party and a great way to celebrate before we put in some hard work again this year. If you can't control yourself in a public place with a bar at your disposal than you might have other issues. Or, if you don't feel comfortable in these sorts of situations then simply go back to your room, go hang at the hotel bar or restaurant (lots of people do this btw so you will have plenty of company), take a walk, whatever.

At my old company for our big POA 'celebrations' we would break up into districts and go out to eat at steakhouses and other chain restaurants. And talk about sales. And congratulate everyone, again, who won awards. Sometimes I would even splurge on the chocolate lava cake. Good times.

Thanks for coming on here and trying to bring everyone down. This thread is about how much fun people had at the last meeting, and you'd prefer that it be about YOU. Sorry - start a new thread about how terrible things are post-displacement. Quit trying to hijack this one with your negative BS.

Lurker here, with a question. Our former West-side RBD that was obviously puttin' in to one of his subordinates for some time before he got cut---was he an adult? If you've been here for more than 7 or 8 years, you probably know of at least a dozen married folks that have had their hands in someone else's cookie jar at these meetings.

Maybe your point is that adults here often stray, but keep their yaps shut about it?

I wasn't referring to infidelity. That RBD was a fool, and we all know it. Not sure what that has to do with anything, but apparently you just wanted to drag that issue back up, in case the other 400 posts about it weren't enough.

I was referring to getting on here and bragging about getting pussy. Most people quit doing that after the age of 17 or 18, but apparently there are a few employees that still feel inclined to re-live their high school days. It's time to put away childish things....

In your view it appears to be a bigger faux pas bragging about screwing a MILF than actually screwing a MILF. Regardless, my problem is that this frat-boy nails sorority girl attitude here galls me. Its like we're stuck in an eternal adolescence (when both sets of parents are away) or a Club Med for married adults.

There are plenty of things I DIDN'T mention, but that doesn't mean I condone them. I didn't say anything in my post about domestic abuse - does that mean I'm all for it? If you want to make another point, feel free to make it. But, my NOT talking about something doesn't mean anything except that I didn't talk about it.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that one. Just ask anyone over the age of 18 who isn't a complete douche, and you'll probably get the same answer. But, maybe you're right. Maybe adults and professionals run around bragging about getting some pussy just like they did in high school. We might just run in different crowds.

Define 'douche'. Is it someone that cheats on their spouse, or is it someone that brags about enjoying the favors of someone that cheats on their spouse? We have plenty of both here. One poster seems to have a problem with cheaters, and you seem to have a problem with braggarts.
