Best Medical Device/Equipment Company To Work For?

Who are some of the best medical device/equipment companies out there? Who do you work for and why would you recommend them?

That depends on what is important to you.

If you're a person who is competitive, always positive, and a grinder, I think Stryker is the best company in the business. They treat their reps like gods, from the Chairman on down, they give you lots of ways to make your number, and they don't care how you make your number. There is zero micromanagement, because they expect you to not need to be managed. That is unless you don't perform, of course, in which case you will be tied up, shot, burned, and forgotten. Get an expansion territory if possible -- don't follow anyone who got promoted, because he probably stuffed his accounts in order to get there.

Bullshit. They're all the same. There is no "best". Just a matter of figuring how much shit you want to put up with in exchange for the amount of money you want to make. We all sell widgets to hospitals. What widget company do you want to work for? Pick the one with the coolest logo.

Word of Caution: If any of you have any friends and they are interviewing with a company named Impedimed, tell them to avoid this company like the plague. Impedimed stock is at.032 cents per share. Their CEO, CFO and VP of Sales have no idea how to sell a new technology, especially the no talent VP of Sales. It can take up to 2 years to sell a system, it is grossly overpriced and the reimbursement is a joke, not to mention the weekly forecast calls to be asked the same question over and over again. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. You all have been warned!!
