Benco commission changes happening

It had been 2 years for a long time. Now they will get rid of you in less than a year if you are not trending up. Turnover has been very high.

Aside from the true standouts that would do well anywhere for a good rep even it takes a couple years to get their legs under them and to establish themselves. Very few do great out of the gate hence only one rookie of the year. Rookie not rookies... Turnover is expensive not just in the recruitment and hiring process but in market perception too. If that's the case its a dangerous path they're walking down.

This company has jumped the shark. They do not care about turnover anymore and they are not filling open positions. Look at the careers section on Benco.com. The same 26 sales positions have been open for months. Moving to a higher sales lower commission model. Less benefits to pay per rep. More headaches for reps with more driving, more account visits, call notes and more problems to deal with on a daily basis. On the website, go under senior leadership an read the bio's skills and food? embarrassing!

Hearing that Benco is going to be moving to a base + bonus salary structure and doing away with draw (or subsidy)/commission. Anyone else hearing this?

Curious to know what the base is going to be, guessing this will piss off some of the reps making way more on commission right now to go to a mfgr type salary structure but the newbies will be excited.

BSF has come and gone still waiting for the supposed change in commissions/salary. Nice try, but unless you've got something better I'd suggest baby sitting your accounts there at Patterson or Schein or wherever your at because we're coming for ya. Go start rumors somewhere else, you'll have the time...pssshhh going to a salary vs commission. Nice one.
