Yeah most likely $70k will be your offer. Don’t expect more than that.

Benefits plan....Our insurance plan choices aren’t very good. Your choices will be between high deductible and high deductible which is sucky. You’re deductible will be about $3,200 for a family plan. So your premiums will be high and then your out of pocket costs will also be high. As a family, we never meet our deductible so as you can see the medical coverage plan kind of sucks.

The bonus plan sucks too. Half of your bonus is tied in to how your district performs lmao. So literally half your of your commission check has absolutely nothing to do with your work or performance. Sounds enticing doesn’t it?! Lol. Oh and most of your district will be made up of recent college grads trying to figure out how insurance works and asking docs how they can be a resource to them lolololol. So let that sink in.

Don’t forget that bonuses are capped too. Most companies are uncapped

I left Lilly about a year ago and it was the best thing I did. Lillys bonuses are horrible based on district. Insurance choices are one of the worst. High deductibles, high monthly premiums. Favor generics instead of brand. Cost of car is double that of other companies and with barely any features in the cars. On top of that, there are endless conference calls and endless projects that you will have to do to get promoted.
The grass is greener on the other side. Go somewhere else where they value experience and where they will compensate you based on your sales results and where conference calls are not the norm.

Salary here is laughable. Really good for new grads and that’s who they want. Experienced reps should go to smaller to medium companies, you’ll get paid more.

Take this job and company for what it is. A really good place to develop and build your resume. Then leave before the go through “lay offs.” Old timers here are far and few, most the minority token child. Colored, female or senior leaderships mouth piece. Fuck you Col Lilly!

Well, the majority of the employees here have been working with the company for 10+ years. Although there are several New to Pharma hires, that doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming majority of the employee demographic are Lilly-4-Lifers. Look outside of diabetes PC and the majority of teams are made of very tenured reps.

You sound miserable, though. Why not do yourself a favor and leave now before the "lay offs"?
