What is the lowdown on the BioSurgery Division of Bard?

Good Gig? Fair Quotas? Good Products compared with the Competition?

I have been told 170k at plan with top reps making 300k.

Any info would be appreciated.
 






























No one is making what they say! They inflate the commission along with inflating the forecast! You will be pushed to your limits and then leave, why even start. Why is everyone leaving that's the question you should ask??? Now your on to something, just ask the Sales Director when he's not loaded.
 


















Wow, top reps make 300K is crazy. Maybe the top two in the country, the rest are making nothing. Sounds like a brain washed manager having trouble filling openings. Even at 100% the reps aren't making 170K which is the target.

If you believe that, then ask the question as to why the top reps and managers are leaving and walking away from that great money???
 


















If you look at the leadership they are micro managing the reps so much they are leaving. BM is such a bully he continues to drive good people away and then blames the one's who left. How many people have to leave before it's no longer the rep or the manager??? Sometimes you have to call it for what its worth or just ask yourself is it worth it?
 






Can anyone please give me information on this Bard Biosurgery sales position? What types of products would you be selling? Space? Approximate base salary + commission? Is it a good gig? Call points-OR, etc? Thanks in advance.

If you don't already know the answers to these questions, quit looking, you aren't qualified for the position. Go back to pharma or selling copiers.
 






could someone please provide a current status of this division? Culture, opportunity to make quality money, obtainable quotas, management, pipeline, etc. appreciate the info in advance.
 


















Feeling more and more like a used car salesman day after day. We need to beef our bag up with some new stuff or that's exactly where I'll be. Selling used cars. Prolly make more $$$ too.
 






It really comes down to the money and the management. They tell you what your earning potential could be... In the end if your if your one of the top 5 sales reps you can hit that but most reps are not and that is why you see openings in the division. The smart reps have already left for real potential. Ask yourself why has the entire management team turned over in the last year??? I'm on my way out...
 






What is up with this division? Can they only recruit pharma, payroll, and Cintas reps or what? Well at least we know where b2b reps and sample droppers cut there teeth in med.
