It's always the uneducated, insecure ones that get sooo well defended. They are just thankful that the hiring manager didn't check their transcripts from the on line University they graduated with honors from. It's quite competitive when you're competing with such top students.

Diversity hire. Such a joke. So sad and putting your cause so far back. Pity. You were making such headway. I'm fine sweetheart. Made it through grad school on my own merits. Never blamed society or Lilly or any other object for why I couldn't make it on my own. Unlike you who people look at and automatically think needed a handout. I don't need special Lilly conferences or special Lilly groups to justify why I was hired. I was hired because I was the best. You were hired to fill a quota. Sad but so true. Look at our numbers since we started filling quotas. We suck. Thanks for all that you do! Lol!!

First of all I don't know if he was a new hire or part of the elite management we have these days. Second of all you're absolutely right any good rep with self respect would leave. This job shows no respect for people who have graduated from a great University only to work next to a University of Phoenix who things they know it all. Really proud to work got Lilly .

Why not get your Harvard MBA equivalent from UOP? It's easier than you think.

If the BOD would just clean house and replace upper management with intelligent, business minded people our company would turn around. They would hire SD's and DM's who were competent and business minded. Until that happens Lilly will stay the way it is.

Nice comment. For example, why not have a Six Sigma team look at the Colonel's original product line? (He was never a one-hit wonder type). Last figure I saw was a couple thousand products.

WE HAVE SO MUCH OFFICE AND LAB SPACE... what is it being used for? Not very much...

Why not try nutraceuticals, cosmetics, skin care, etc., etc., etc., be a freaking Google while you still have cash left. NO MORE IMCLONES. THAT WAS DUMB.

All they would have to do is replace JL, DR and AA then the dominoes would fall. They would put their own management team in. Could end up with a viable company again. They are on the take so probably no chance of that happening. Pity.

Why not? These current MBA types have NO IMAGINATION.

I think buying out a cosmetic company is a GREAT idea!! Why not buy out Nuskin, Este Lauder, Chanel or even an OTC company?
Look at J&J, one of the most diversified companies on the planet and #1 Pharma company.

Lilly has a great household name but it is starting to sputter. Need to inject some creativity in this company and bring the name BACK before it becomes extinct.

It's the prettiest logo of all the pharmas. And that's where it stops.

In LLY executive mgmt philosophy, we NEED to LEVERAGE.

And lord knows some of the employees could use a little cosmetics. Forget the drycleaning. Just focus on looking and BEING healthy.
