AZ Vimovo/Dutoprol Contract

Exactly how long do you think this group will survive at the script rate we are generating? I have another contract gig but don't want to jump from the fire into the frying pan.

I predict that in fourth quarter we will be toast. Pharma likes to boost revenue in last quarter to make the shareholders happy.

God, I hope longer than that. It took me 9 months to land this job and i was lucky enough to have severance from the last job. This time with no severance, I am not sure how i will make it.

If Ocean is over then this contact is for sure OVER. Crestor sales are so much better than Vimovo/Dutoprol but they got canned

The Gemini contract expires in February 2013. It was signed when wave 1 was at training last February. I'm sure they wil continue to hire and fill territories as needed. However, the contract probably will not be renew unless change in products since Dutoprol is doing so poorly!

Considering that this contract is more of an "established product" sales force or "cornerstong" whatever they call it, they could be potentially moving CRESTOR to the GEMENI team.....Think about it, Crestor has generic competition, but it's patent still has time......my two cents....you NEVER know. Why not put Gemini on Crestor???? I don't think AZ can afford to give up the little revenue that Crestor can still generate.....

Why don't you tell that to the Ocean contract sales team who had only Crestor and their contract ends on Sept 18 after one year. Crestor is getting killed by generic statins, especially atorvastatin. It's just a matter of time before AZ lays off many Crestor only reps.

IT'S ANYBODYS GUESS-LETS THINK POSITIVE-COULD GO ON FOR A COUPLE OF MORE YEARS. DOING GREAT WITH VIMOVO-MAYBE WE WILL GET OTHER PRODUCTS FROM CORNERSTONE.

Have interview coming up later today. Even if it only lasts 6 months, that's $40K or so that I don't have now.
