At Genentech his team hated him, had no respect for him, and at national meetings never had dinner with his own team. But seems to land jobs which surprises everyone who knows of him. He is great at fooling upper management with rhetorical questions etc.

I think a fair number of people will leave in the next 6 months as their retention bonuses are paid out and Novartis takes more and more control (and forces some people out).
