Well well well. What to we have here. Stock at 14.85 at noon the day before the 2nd quarter earnings call. 14.85. Is the lowest the stock has ever been at. Our future looks dim. Does anyone feel good about tomorrow's earnings call. Will there be a sledgehammer of micromanagement to startup again. Will the PIP process start at full speed ahead. Will we be sold off in pieces??? Will we last until this December. Could we be in any worse shape?
 












The challenges from Covid has really dampened the launch of this agent. Everyone in the know sees the bright future and we are definitely not going to back down from the fight. Saving lives is important and a noble calling, we will persevere to get the opportunity to be a solution for our own future.

Still using Covid as an excuse! In 10 years from now and this drug is long gone and Esperion is in cinders you'll still be talking Covid. Explain why doctors still laugh at this drug? If it's so great why is it a dud. Will you post something snappy tomorrow after the earnings call? Feeling optimistic about tomorrow??

Forget the stock price, I am concerned that Shelly is going to dislocate his shoulder from all the hand waving. On a positive note, it seems as though he has realized that at some point you actually have to charge for the drug in order to be successful.
 






Overall the report was quite uplifting, with a better path forward for enhanced commercial success down the road. The worst may be priced in now, so Don’t be surprised to see this back in the 20s in the near future. Personally I continue to be encouraged with the recent management changes and I believe in the story.

Okay. good luck hitting the company 46% growth in every territory this quarter to achieve next round of investment lol. When the company says it’s all out or we’re in trouble to sales staff on team calls…it should be the clear signal

Couldn't agree more, but then I also suspect that the passengers on the Titanic were uplifted that the ship didn't sink instantaneously after hitting the berg. Head to the lifeboats my friends, there aren't enough seats for everyone.
 












This couldn't have gone any worse. 10 million in net sales!!! Thats glaring and alarming. Still no sales growth. They tried to massage this call like nobody could believe. Nothing on managed care and still comparing to last year. This was supposed to be the year as the Covid excuse train has been used to the point of nauseam. The tapping of the money that's been loaned is disgusting. Look at sales scripts. Can anyone really say that were killing it. They made a big point out of Sheldon and Moody being involved but sales numbers didn't reflect any change. Look how the stock is getting hammered today. The analysts have reacted to today's reports and there's no confidence that this will ever get better. If Esperion showed 30-40 million in quarterly net sales then they could stick their chests out but this 10 million in net sales was a mouse fart.

Esperion marketing is working overtime today to send press releases to Zach research saying amazing positive things about this weak earnings report. No mention of where all the revenue is coming from that's propping the company up. 10.6 million in sales with 200 reps who supposedly Scientific Hires. If not for the DS this company would be lost at sea. Look at what other new drugs are doing . This wasn't a good earnings call. All the glad handing and back slapping on the call was very junior high. And the planted questions were hilarious. Esperion has to be slipping them some major Benjamins to ask these ridiculous questions with no tough questions . It's like watching Opray and Ellen do interviews or The View.
 












The market has reacted to this tremendous uplifting earnings call the other day. The stock continues to bounce around from 13.99 to 14.30. No growth, upticks, or traction. 10.6million in net sales. Totally laughable. Cafepharma is going to have shut this blog down as there's not enough sales that warrants a company post on cafepharma. Management would love this as there tired of having the shit kicked out of them everyday and seeing there mistakes and incompetence put out there for the world to see. They've done a good job of shutting any negative posts down on Glassdoor. The sales misery continues at Esperion.

There's no answers to any of the above. Not one single time has anyone from Esperion posted anything clinically relevant. Or a clinical reason showing efficacy for why doctors should be writing BA. This says volumes to the current dumpster fire going on in Ann Arbor. No leadership, no marketing plan, no sales results, no relevance as to why not use a generic statin and get the same results. Hell fish oil and garlic pills will get you better LDL reduction. The madness continues for another quarter.
 






Stock getting pounded again today. At. $13.37 and heading to 12.00. . This year has been a disaster. Stock down 55% YTD. Not much room left for the upcoming 3rd quarter disaster earnings call that's coming. This will literally be "the last man standing" after 4th quarter earnings call.
