Astellas equals age discrimination

Likely not as rampant as in the last couple of years as most of the Veteran Reps who established the company have been "shown the door" by various managers who used the many "tools" at their disposal (ie Expense audits, performance plans etc....)

SOOOOO transparent what was going on....

I've never understood why you whiners look askance at "expense audits" as a means to possibly terminate an employee. If someone is honest and doesn't cheat on their expenses, shouldn't they survive an expense audit? if someone is taking their friends out to dinner and charging it to the company, or buying groceries for their family with the company credit card, or putting gas into their personal car with the company fuel card - shouldn't they be canned regardless of age or sex or race?

The examples you listed are theft and anyone engaged in them should be fired. However, those are not the only fireable offenses from an audit. If you feed a clinic and get one name wrong an the attendees list you can be terminated. No one is flawless when it comes to stuff like that. That's why it's resented.

Don't be ridiculous, I wouldn't be talking about something as obvious as personal expenses etc....Of course that's a punishable infraction. You've shown your ignorance by writing that! But since you do not have a clue about what is meant by the charge above, I won't bother to explain. Just hope you don't have to find out how conniving, visious, and the lengths the company will go to get rid of you!

I stand corrected. If they are firing people for honest, innocuous mistakes like that, things are way out of control. Lawyer, anyone?

This post is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever read. When I recently went through training, I was in the middle if the age group. I am in my upper 40s. In my distinct that has several new people, I am one of the youngest. If you are older and not getting hired, take a look at your resume again.

Once again, a mindless comment by someone who has no idea of what they're talking about.
If you went through training RECENTLY as you stated, that does not place you in the position to comment about what has happened here over the past 2-3 years!
Why are you reading these posts anyway. You are still in the "honeymoon" phase of working here...
