Astellas contract

Sumavel isn't new by any stretch of the imagination. The "new" part is a super expensive, air inject system, that by all accounts hurts like a sob and isn't any more effective than "sumatriptan injection" that has been around for several years. They are trying to market the product with ease of use, fear of needles, and some other meaningless crap.

Good Luck-

The base runs $50k-$70k (seriously it's that varied). $500 car allowance, $135 cell. Talks of the rollover happening by July, but right now they are cutting territories left and right by writing people up and using plans.
I'm a super positive person, never posted on here because of all the negativity...but I'll be honest...RUN away, far far away!
Where are you geographically?

I don't know what the bonus structure is like now, they changed it a few times. 100% to goal is $20k/year, based on both drugs. When I was there last year, average quarterly bonus was about $1500, top 10 reps made $2500. But like I said, it has changed bc people were not getting the bonuses they should have.
Sounds like the contract is set to roll over, but I think they are just trying to cut some individual people/territories before the rollover happens. I don't think Midwest is that bad; some coverage for both drugs, and the managers are ok.
Its honest feedback, hope its helpful.

Thanks for the honest answers! Do you know when the rollover occurs if pay will increase and if a company car will be given? I have heard both are true but am reluctant to believe. Thanks

There is a raise that is supposed to come in May that is retro active to January. From the beginning, they said there is no raise when roll over happens.
Yes, a company car will be given. Someone that just transferred to a direct employee from contract was offered a Ford Focus for a car.

They had been offering Subaru Foresters for the last year, but I haven't heard of the new reps getting one. Traditionally though, northern state reps always get an option of something with AWD.
