Of course they are being forced on people. What do you call banning incandescents? You give people no other choice (unless you are like me and own enough incandescents that I will never have to buy your bogus bulbs) by banning competition.

That is your true definition of fascism and yes Bush signed the bill
 


















Doc, he might have certain biases but that does not change any of the facts presented. It just goes to show that he understands the general rule that government solutions are worse than the hyped problem they are meant to solve - almost always.
