Original message was not that AZ would take over Lilly....nothing in the company they would want....take over Effient sales. You can live in your dream if you want, but their sales are growing....even though they have 3 reps to 1 Lilly....been this route before....can anyone say Zoloft? Watched Prozac lose share when Pfizer added reps....Lilly added reps to counter....the cycle continues...then everyone lets them go....but the damage is still done

Boy their really growing. 15 million in us sales just reported for most recent quarter. Lol. 50 mil over seas. If you do the math that's less than 15% of effient a sales in us.
 




Medical management indication, mortality benefit, less expensive loading, a perception they are better in STEMI and PAD indication on the way, say what you want but AZ has some advantages. And, how sure are you that we'll even keep Effient? The partnership track record isn't so strong around here lately.
 




no kidding.....they had an excruciating slow start....learned lessons late, but they have gotten their act together and have become agressive. Say what you want, doctors hate agressive reps, but they always do what they tell them.....and yes, track record of partnerships not so good....sorry folks, not enough money being generated by Effient to be split between 2 companies and a lot of reps with both companies.....
 












Put me in coach...nah, I'm happy to be gone, sounds like it's worse than ever around there.

Reps to be ridden hard then let go, get as much out of them as possible, tell them they are the chosen ones, that they should be grateful they have a thankless job, that they are saving lives, then let them go with next to nothing severance. Happy Holidays !
