Are you serious?

Who cares? Heartgard went off patent in 1997 and has had records sales the past 3 years. Clients want Frontline. Not some crap that claims to be "the same as frontline" or "works better than frontline" - Clients know better.

Just like with Heartgard, if vets stay with Frontline, they will do better than if they bring in some cheap brand that claims to be the sames. Biggest challenge of our jobs is working with dumbass vets who don't understand a thing about business.

If you are a good sales rep you have the responsibility to educate the vet on your business.

No OTC?

After buying First Sheild Trio @ Banfield for our Jack Russel who was a patient that day, a few weeks later I got a call at home from someone selling the stuff. Not only did they sell me more for half price, they also sold me the same for my other 2 dogs, one large one toy, dogs who had not been examined, and they did this with no questions asked aside from the dogs estimated weight.
For the record, this product worked when FrontLine didn't. We live in Central Florida and the fleas this past year have been the worst EVER, so I was glad to find something that finally worked that the dogs tolerated so well. I spent $150 on FrontLine for 3 dogs OTC @ Petco, and after applying according to directions, the fleas just laughed and kept on biting. What a waste of money that was. The dogs and I want more FirstSheild.
