"amazing prothe ducts"????? Don't you mean product? Singular not plural! Angiomax is a great drug but cleviprex? No way? I also disagree with your thought that the comapny has a plan B, C, D....MDCO has an idea but there is no plan. Management is flying by the seat of their pants and has no clue how they are going to accomplish their lofty goals. It's been a great gig till the launch of cleviprex. Now we are going to be "consultants"! Wait till you try and sell that one in an interview.

Let's see...Brent said on a conference call that 30% would never get it and would move on to other things. I would say that is a huge underestimate on the number of people that will move on. But then again, maybe they want 50% attrition.

Obviously you have not sold any Cleviprex so you wouldn't know if it is great or not.

Don't assume! I have sold cleviprex and continue to do so. I'm not saying that cleviprex isnt a good drug it is. But when you look at it in the context of the current market place, it is not such a superior drug to call it "great"! Until you have pharmacoeconomic data to show accounts that it is worth adding another CCB to the formulary, it will be considered a "me too" drug. Angiomax is a "superior" drug within its marketplace.
 






Yes, I am looking. Was looking before the meeting, am looking harder after the meeting. If the conversations I had at the meeting were any indication, 80-90% of the reps are looking. My prediction- over the next 3 months there will be a continual deparure of good reps.

i think you're right. maybe they simply want to be r&d...rake in whatever profits on whatever drugs they still have, no sales force.

Honestly, I don't know where we are headed. I'm so confused as to the direction this company is headed. Or for that matter, how in the hell we are going to get there. Not having a good idea of the future is killing me. How can i plan on where I want to be in the near future when I can't picture where this company is going to be in the near future. I can't make decisions based on the unknown.

Ha, I am an Integrilin rep-and I am not out of work-I actually have a good job with the second largest drug manufacturer in the world, I'll make $125-$135k this year and am excited that we have a RIDICULOUS cv pipline!

I am posting on a company board that features threads regarding a failed launch, a patent expiration, and lay-offs. So, I actually do have the time to F%*K myself since I have zero concerns about my future, how about you ?

Good luck to those of you who are looking, there are jobs out there-I was worried about getting cut and interviewed a bunch-you will do fine. Business is business, I don't want people to lose their jobs-even my enemies!
