Are we buying PAML?

I'm already using this well vetted tumor against them in Seattle and Spokane, but would love to know when this becomes a reality. Anyone have news? Surely TA will not fair well if this sale doesn't go down.

LOL. Rumors persist at CSI, that Labcorp is buying us. We hope, but no one here believes anything but the worst. HELP!!!
Wait, you WANT to be bought by us?!? All I can say is be careful what you wish for. I came here from an acquisition. Every single one of former coworkers are gone. I'm sweating out another year until I can retire, while hoping Labcorp doesn't figure out a way to rape my pension for the old company.

That should tell you how bad it is at CSI!!!

A big reference lab on the west coat. Trust we are still trying to buy PAML, however PHS wants too much money, and LCA won't offer that much. But not to worry, thei PAML CEO/CIO will jack stuff up so much that in 6 mos PHS will beg for our last offer.

Getting all of PHS & CHI to use LCA is key, PAML and its other sites are worth nothing to LCA if they don't use us as a REF Lab. Funny part is LCA may be worse at IT & Lab than PAML. Imagine that!?!

We are much less superior than PAML, especially at lab tests. We use sub par methodologies just so we can have a lower price. The doctor offices never really know they are getting out dated testing most of the time. You are also right about LCA not giving a d%#=& about the small offices. Even though I work for LCA, I would prefer my own lab tests be run at PAML and that's really sad.

Why would we buy PAML? They never do anything bordering illegal like billing practices or marketing practices. They are not a fit with LCA since all we care about is the bottom line and answering to our stock holders and we do anything we have to to create a positive looking bottom line even if we have to cheat, lie, or steal. PAML is the opposite of us. We cant merge with a lab that has a completely different outlook on medicine than us. We should concentrate on Path Inc, CSI, or HDL.

This was the case in PAML's past. But the current CEO/CIO/CFO have brought the company right in line with LCA. Purposely. For just such an occasion as selling. Its nice to hear that they still have that reputation that they built up over the years. But their clients and employees know different.

LC still needs some more capital before they will be able to acquire PAML. We have been taking a beating in the past couple months. Hopefully we can turn this ship around, but what do I know I just clean the lab.
