ARE WE BROKE??

You guys (not all) suck. the bullshit your reps spill on patients treated v # of units sold sucks. Some think that people buy it...we mostly make fun of you after you leave the clinic Some docs just feel bad for the rep and listen. After that we giggle at dinner and drinks.
I am not a rep...just work in a clinic where one of you people come into and beg weekly. I couldn't do it.

I don't work for OI, but I saw this and just had to retort. I see the OI reps come into my clinics monthly- it's sad. They have no idea who they're treating, how the patient is progressing, or how their product is impacting your business. They are... Well... Let's not sugar coat it... A joke. They're order takers at best.

On to your point about , "I couldnt do it". that's right- you probably couldnt. No to be a condesending prick, but you couldnt, even if you wanted to. You see, for as bad as these people are ( and trust me, they are for shit from the top down- I ran into their VP of Sales at a center and couldn't believe how unimpressive this man was, or how long he waited to see such a small time physician who he had no shot at) the OI rep sitting in front of you has a 4 year degree and some moderate success selling something over 5 years prior to their OI tenure (probaly pharma...shitty 3rd tear pharma like Takeda or some such shit, but documented success (like, "achieved quota 4 of last 5 years"). You wouldn't know it to look at them by the way they carry themselves, but they make like $110,000 a year. Do you know 95% of the population dosent do that?

You probably think I'm an arrogant prick. Well, I will not correct you, even though i honestly try not to be- but at the same time, don't feel bad for these people. Point is, If they suck, don't give them business. It's like a pity fuck for Bruce Willis. He had his ass, had his time, Now it's over. Also, tell this rep what you think of him/ her. Make them get better or quit. If you don't, that also why you couldn't do the job- no backbone. They have a good not great product but there is a lot more out there. If you give someone your business, they damn sure better earn it and you should respect them, as they should respect you and what you do.

You are a little confused. I didn't mean I couldn't do a sales gig, I meant I couldn't beg like the OI guy does. We have a lot of reps that do good work and bring education to us. This guy does not. He is nice, just has the same old story every time he is here. Nothing new or exciting.
By the way, I make more than $110,000.00 that is not impressive.

They are 3 months behind in a 4+ million debt. I think something will happen by the end of this summer. They may sell one of the new buildings to maintain some cash flow. They should start looking to sell or do a merger before the place gets shuts down.

4 mil? they owe 28 million in long term debt. The company will fail within a year

No, Geoff owns the buildings in a trust that he owns outright, some say he used the money he got from the state (13 million) to pony up the equity. He will come out of this as a wealthy slumlord to other companies that lease his buildings after OI fails.

By the way Geoff: I only work 2 days a week selling your crappy prehistoric devices

You sound like a sour ass OI rep because most of us new reps coming in are making close to $110 in salary. No one outside of OI uses the term OI. Why don't you go shine your fn shoe box and go panhandle on your nearest exit for some change.

We need investors or a big handout from the state ASAP

Accounting Dept.

I bet that within a year new stem cell treatments will crush many companies like OI.
Many hospitals are already thinking about allowing P2 and P3 treatments to be conducted
for skin, flesh and bone regeneration.

Any thoughts?

follow the arrows.....which direction do you think they point? Believe your gut not the hype. What do YOU think?? Let's get a poll:

1)How many TRSs' think OI is broke or close to it?

2)How many TRSs' think that OI is just fine?

If you believe that question 1 is most true.....reply with the word "hurting".

If you think question 2 is most true......reply with the word "fine".

As for mgmt.....don't reply several times "fine" to tilt the poll. Let's see if the TRSs' will post what is whispered on text messages and phone conversations.

I was told Friday that the newest figure is $44 million in the red? What is the short term debt issue that some are talking about?

Wrong....we were told that sales are up 42% by Geoff

Net revenue is under a million a week but gross profits are in the red. We ae burning more cash than gross profits. last rumor is over 50 million in new debt. a document was found in the trash.

They are overdue in bankrupsy payments from 2002 were they pomised to pay back 35% of a 40 milion dollar debt.

Very shakey ground ahead if sales decrease

Is that including the 19 million owed to CIT ?
