Approval and hiring question

Exactly. That's why the Recruiting Company was retained. They are experienced at screening candidates and send only the best of the best to the hiring managers. That is their job.

I guess you don't get it, of course as sales people we have all have experienced rejection, but based on the number of complaints regarding this process you would have to question the professionalism or lack of.

If you're that good, think outside the box and find a way to close the sale. And most importantly, stop whining!

Obviously, someone is good at their job if a whiner like you is eliminated from the process with no waste of time or resources.

Where's the "like" button? The whiners good weeded out and they're wondering why they didn't get a F2F? I had a great experience with the recruiters and Chelsea Therapeutics. I think they're doing a great job.

the whiner may come from big pharma thats never experienced job loss til now which may explain his behavior and another reason for chelsea to not hire any big pharma people

Not sure who keeps posting about not hiring from big pharma, but it couldn't be further from the truth. We are indeed looking at some people from big pharma. Main reason is that we aren't paying enough to get some of the better biotech people. Also, keep in mind, this is specialty, but it is also a primary care point of sale. We need some people from the big pharma PC ranks. Nice thing about those people is that they are not paid very highly and they are well prepared for the reach and frequency thing which will be important in the PC sale.

Once again....Interviews with recruiters started last October. Phone and face to face interviews already completed with hiring managers, and 2 candidates per territory will be sent to final interview in two weeks...For the most part, the final two candidates have already been selected.

Not true for all areas! Interviews still taking place. I'm not sure it really matters with the recent bad news, might not be a sales force now.
