Anyone know if these guys are building a sales force?

Don't bother applying if you are in the Florida market...heard they hired the biggest d-bag manager who has absolutely no pain experience. Get ready to be slapped with a CIA working for this guy...he'll say and do anything it takes to get a script using his used car salesman tactics. Stay far, far away.

Wow you must feel real good about yourself hiding behind a computer screen talking shit about someone. Way to make up stories.

I can confirm this salary as truth. $70-90K. If you get $90K someone else has to get $70K. They are absolutely firm on this salary range. Seems low for an opioid launch. Pain is a complex space esp a CII. Lots of pharmacy work or in this case hub work. If they want top talent they should be paying higher salaries. Most people worth their weight in pain would have to take a pay cut in base to come over. It's a great opportunity to be a part of a start up and launch and build a brand, but I don't think I would want to take a $12K pay cut to come over. And that's if I got the high end of the range. Plus the car allowance is around $550 a month depending on where you live. I understood that was the high end. No gas card. Seems low in comparison to other companies. I realize they are saying the bonus will be good, but that's a big question mark with managed care running the show. Anybody get invited to panel interviews yet?

Heard panel interviews are in Atlanta the first week in April. $550 car allowance but aren't they offering mileage as well? Selling a CII is tough...... they need to up the salary and bonus to attract better candidates......

Yes on mileage-regardless you get to deduct .53 cents a mile during tax time depending on how set up-territories aren't large in metro so you Won't ruin your car
I like allowance-I had company cars but allowance can pay for whatever car you want

I do feel pretty great about myself actually, because my comment got under your skin enough to make you come on here and reply. Mission accomplished. Made up stories? Ha. You and every current or recently ex-Daiichi employee in the state of Florida knows what a horrible manager SG is. Ask ANYONE. He had a connection at this company and that's the only reason why he got this job. Extremely poor leadership decision.

Do you have any facts or examples to back up what you're claiming?

Be careful with this job offer. Base is around 80k,no company car and the territory the recruiter told me about covers 3 states. I already have a job so don't think I would touch this. If you need a job then jump on it. Either will be a boom or bust but too risky for me.

If this drug was approved in 2015, why are they waiting until May to launch? Why is having pain experience any different than having any other kind of experience? Can they offer a car allowance without milage? That seems wrong.

The company needed to wait until its law suit with Purdue was dismissed, which it was earlier this month. Now they are full steam ahead building out the sales infrastructure and launching in May

Not so fast.... FDA has to approve and it was just given a 7 week delay. They need to get in line behind all the other pain meds awaiting approval by FDA. I wonder if this one will be like the Teva product and keep getting delayed by FDA while they revamp the opioid guidelines and requirements for approval. I'm thinking yes.
