Anyone know anything about Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals?

whoever posted this on 5/11 is way smater than 99% of the people here....

"Ribavirin is Ribavirin. RibaPak offers convenient dosing, but is just a generic ribavirin in a fancy package. RBP is not clinically superior to RBV, they are the same drug. You need to read up on your DAA protocols and you will see that dose reductions down to 600 mg of RBV with either product has no negative impact on SVR's. You should be nervous that with all the extra cost to insurance companies with DAA's coming, that RBP is going to be difficult to fill because 200mg is much cheaper for the plans to reimburse. Watch plans start denying authorizations and flipping to 200's."

here we are close to a year after this posting and we are still running around chasing our tails...lack of expereince and friends hiring friends is killing this company before its even gotten off the ground.

By the time Kadmon launches a 600 mg pak, it will be too late. seriously whats the difference between taking 3 pills or 2? the answer is 1...and thats not going to matter much to docs.

Why don't you just quit? We do not need people like you here, Ribapak has increased sales and market share dramatically over the past 6 months obvious with no help from you. Please leave

Obviously you fall into the 99% the person above was referring to. It doesn't take a genius to figure out sales and marketshare are up because all the patients who were being warehoused have been started on treatment. More HCV patients in the marketplace = more patients available to go on RibaPak. Peg-Intron's sales and marketshare are up too, but Pegasys is still kicking their ass.

Let see if it keeps climbing with all the dose reductions that are occuring in the marketplace. You think a 600 mg pack is going to change that? Providers can just write for a 1200 pack and the patient will get 2 months worth of drug for one co-pay. You dose reduce to 600 mg of RBV with DAA's, but when a provider wants to start increasing the dose, he has to go back up in 200 mg increments. The 600 pack still doesn't address that problem.

Maybe while he's busy quitting, you can work on your bad attitude so when your sales numbers tank and Ron fires you, you might actually be able find another job!

Im getting a weird feeling about this company...does anyone else think its strange about the way they handled the managers? I feel like Im out of the loop. Other people on my team seem to know more about stuff and they dont know whats going on. Ive only been here for less than a year but its a weird work environment. Im afraid we dont have any new products. Not what i thought I was walking into from old job.

Am I alone? Maybe its just me.

OP its not you. The feeling here is mutual. Lots of people are concerned about the fact that there is no room for growth here. i have been ranked among the top performers for 2 years, over 100% two years and top 10 as well. and i was told to be patient...im starting to get the picture that this is a 1 way street. im sure we wll here that EVERYTHING is fine. if it true why are top people interviewing? maybe more information after ny meeting, but dont turn blue holding breath.

Brad is a good leader IMO, however the guy in the east Kirk is not cut out for it. He is in that role because he will do whateevr he is told. Watch your backs. Most of the people here are Ok, but some are poison.

Re: Anyone know anything about Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals and the manager DB??

Any insight anyone can give me on the company, culture, and manager DB is greatly appreciated.

just read the thread...its not a good place to work, period. oh and some of the managers takes kick backs from the specialty pharmacies in the region for the reps to direct business. of course this is widely known for 70% of the sales team. the new people have no idea whats happening, however the rest of the sales team and all the sp mangers know what really goes on. $500 per patient sounds about right. law suit waiting to happen. would love to know others input on this. we have "preferred sp's"....be very careful.

This must have been posted by someone on the East Coast because no one out West would ever agree with you. They may not admit it out of fear of retaliation, but anyone who has worked with certain individuals or knows other reps here who have, they know what's really going on. Word of caution: careful what you share and who you trust. There is no confidentiality here and everything you say will be told to RH whether you want it to be or not. Considered yourself warned.

I would agree something is up with preferred pharmacies. As long as they keep filling my scripts I'm not going to ask any questions!
