Enlighten me oh wise one. Let me get this straight. The B reps will be retained but the B products will be promoted by contract. Therefore what products will the Bs sell, if the current B products are going to contract?

Not all B Reps will be retained...only high performing, high ranking reps will be retained regardless of bag. We have all been told this. I don't claim to be "the wise one". However, I know that Respiratory products will be no longer be promoted by "Merck Reps" after July 1. This was stated last week to a couple of reps in the right place at the right time. It doesn't take a genius to know that this was happening though, look at all the touchpoint reps that overlap each territory and the fact that their contract was renewed till 2016.

What we all have been told so far is that there is going to be 3 reps. 2 Diabetes, and 1 mystery rep. I speculate that the third rep will be a "flex" Athero/Diabetes rep.
 








Big Questions Here! Up for Grabs!!

1. What will become of DF cardio and diabetes?
Split into 2 separate DF groups or still combined in one bag with 1 DF rep?

2. Will they train high ranked B reps on cardio since they already know diabetes?

3. What happens to specialty respiratory reps?

3. Are all canned AD teams (not many they say) canned for good?

4. Are cardio reps salvageable to stay on?

What a persistent bunch of idiots. I am shocked it's still here. Maybe if you spent more time with the wife's this would not have happened in the first place. He is not posting, they are not posting. It's actually better that you don't know. This guy gets more reads than the actual layoff threads.

Stop acting like fools. There are no winners with these issues.
 








When the layoff teleconferences were held in April we were told we would receive weekly updates on the process. We have not received one single communication since the first announcement. Actually this should not be a surprise since this is Merck. Merck does many thing poorly.

Thus we have this thread- "Anyone heard anything new?"

I am working late tonight and need a break so:
I use the term idiots to describe you people. I have no clue why other people are using it.
As I stated before. Sale will not get hit hard. You can't update nothing. It would be nice to see "I'm sorry" on the 24th. Then again I don't really care.

As far as the offer to say I am great for six months for getting a name. I can have that name in two weeks. Do you really think I need a bunch of idiots tell me I am great? It's already common knowledge. I am not in the business of ripping marriages apart. Ignorance is bliss in this case. The person who would put it out is the most disgusting, sub human, insensitive person on the earth. It should go away. Pretend it never happened.

As far as hand raisers go. You will be selected if people feel you are not worth the trouble. If you have little value relative to your salary. Not many people care if you're happy or not. Do you think we are going to hold hand and sing Kumbaya? It's all about the dollars. We never had all hand raisers selected. I am surprised someone would even ask.
 




You won't hear anything until you get the phone call.

You won't believe it can happen to you even as you are handing over your keys.

You will continue to believe you are highly " employable" until you go on that 100th interview, first severance runs out, then unemployment.
