Oh aren't you clever.... pat yourself on the back to think you are winning some smartypants debate. Seriously not only should you get vaccinated but you should also wear a mask, if you want to keep your job think long and hard because its coming they will be mandating vaccines here. Many pharma companies already are and are continuing to do so. How long do you think the virtual environment will last on one seasoned OAB and Prostate product and wake up prostate is co-promoted so they don't need us. Lay offs will be imminent and vaccinations will be mandated. Most offices are asking for proof of vaccination to be live and all hospital systems are requiring us to be credentialed with proof of vaccine to enter. Believe it or not, Astellas will mandate they have to to ensure the safety of their customers and to ensure that those who are vaccinated and wearing a mask to do their job. If you choose not to vaccinate leave and good luck finding a new company as they are more and more asking for proof of vax as a requirement.

I have zero accounts requiring vaccination. Half the staff is unvaccinated in offices. Only 1 hospital group mandated for their employees. So a sweeping mandate is nothing more than a virtue signal.

Will you stop the freedom grab encouragement if I identify as an antibody? Lol. Libs and the sheep…making your own choice isn’t enough
 






Long before Covid, the major hospital system I call on required proof of flu shot and negative TB test. Anybody out there have to use credential service like Rep Trax to get access to a hospital?
Why is a Covid vaccine so controversial when we have had to comply with patient safety protocols all along?

So I have RepTrax and Symplr vendor credentials. I opt out of Flu every year. A few extra steps, but not mandatory. TB is a test. Not a vaccine. Does that help? No options are being given to opt out as everything else allows. I could understand a negative test required, masks, etc. But mandating a vaccine is nothing more than virtue signaling.
 












I have no problem with an RSM not wanting to get the vaccine, it is a personal decision. That being said they have no business stepping foot in an office that is requiring it’s employees to get the jab. We are guests in their place of business and we need to abide by their rules. If the RSM were to expose the staff, who calls the office and explains what happened. That’s a phone I would not want make. This RSM is only making it about themselves and not the customer or patients.

I would be in favor of an Astellas SOP that forbid us in offices unvaccinated. If you choose not to be, you have the option of conducting your business virtually.

The more people that vaccine the less likely the virus will spread from person to person and branch off to more potent and worse variants such as the Delta one we are dealing with currently. When people chose to not vaccinate- yes you have a higher probability of getting covid but you can still spread it even to a person who is vaccinated. In fact, the more that are unvaccinated the higher the probability of communicate outbreak and spread. Even if people chose to vaccinate, they may have people who are not eligible, and need to protect them from the ignorant. You choosing not to vaccinate is not only not protect yourself also puts everyone both unvaccinated and vaccinated people in jeopardy. and if you are stupid enough to not wear a mask knowing you have not vaccinated should be a crime and is selfish to not only us on this thread but to Astellas, its patients, our pharma community as well as just to people in general.

Not to mention its Astellas obligation to make sure we are protecting those who chose to vaccinate as well as our customers some of which are sick patients with cancer. Us choosing to head into an office and see people face to face, knowing we are not vaccinated is not only ignorant it's irresponsible. You choosing not to vaccinate is not just about you and your risk, its still can spread to others which makes you in my opinion the root of the issue and the cause of the delta variant. You reap what you sew
