There are RSMs who are vocally anti-vax who are doing live ride-alongs with their reps, conducting live cross-functional meetings, and are not masking up. Does anyone know if Astellas has a policy about this?

Yes - similar to Armed Forces “Don’t ask, don’t tell” - plus it’s impossible to verify who has or hasn’t been vaccinated

Being in the industry as mentioned above on trusting the science is spot on. Drop weight, eat healthy, stop drinking, and exercise daily. Let you’re natural immunity do it’s job or take the jab…pretty simple.

A. You realize unless you are over weight AND have an underlying health issue that the odds you would have to defy to become hospitalized or die are unfathomable.

B. You chose to not vaccinate for whatever the reason and understand your “risks”

Neither of the above endanger you or someone who is at risk.


BTW…most people you see walking around in public without a mask are unvaccinated. The sign on the door to trust in Fauci’s CDC doesn’t work. I suggest you don’t leave you’re home because there’s a lot of those anti vax RSMs in your every day life.

Wild to see how much censoring on this thread has been done…4 or 5 posts taken down because it says if you’re vaccinated you shouldn’t be concerned of an unvaccinated individual…per the CDC. Enjoy before admin removes this as well.

This is why you’re sheep…any logical discussion or actually saying trust in the vaccine to protect you gets removed.

Its called Community Immunity- vaccines protect the individual and the community. The more people that vaccine the less likely the virus will spread from person to person and branch off to more potent and worse variants such as the Delta one we are dealing with currently. When people chose to not vaccinate- yes you have a higher probability of getting covid but you can still spread it even to a person who is vaccinated. In fact, the more that are unvaccinated the higher the probability of communicate outbreak and spread. Even if people chose to vaccinate, they may have people who are not eligible, and need to protect them from the ignorant. You choosing not to vaccinate is not only not protect yourself also puts everyone both unvaccinated and vaccinated people in jeopardy. and if you are stupid enough to not wear a mask knowing you have not vaccinated should be a crime and is selfish to not only us on this thread but to Astellas, its patients, our pharma community as well as just to people in general.

Not to mention its Astellas obligation to make sure we are protecting those who chose to vaccinate as well as our customers some of which are sick patients with cancer. Us choosing to head into an office and see people face to face, knowing we are not vaccinated is not only ignorant it's irresponsible.
