Another RD leaves

There was a post awhile back that listed the RDs & ADs that had recently left. All had to gone to greater roles (CCO, VPs) and more money. Interesting that these people landed on their feet with real companies with real culture and true leadership.

This dumpster fire is in a death spiral.

Very true statement, Pacira needs to realize good employees have job options and other companies would be happy to take their talent.

RD’s that are leaving are smart. Pacira needs to look at the ones that have been around to long. Start with the ones who have HR wrap sheet, JS, LL, JS…….need to clean house Pacira!

If this was a normal company this would be good advice. However, this is not a normal place. Anyone who speaks up against bad management gets silenced immediately. Have seen so many people let go who filed HR complaints. The fear of retaliation is real and evident by all the online company reviews.

My RD has never helped me with anything. Ever.

Field ride, ha! Stop at Starbucks, jumps on a call, lunch, another call, Starbucks again, early drop off at airport.

When I did set up meetings I’d get pulled aside before leaving and told, “Don’t bring your manager back.”

All RDs do is ask for business plans (that they don’t read, review, or understand) and pass off useless messaging from inept ADs (WTF do they do?).

Eliminate both RDs and ADs; they’re dead weight. Buffering leadership from the field. That’s Pacira’s problem keeping the truth from the top. Once heard a former RD call us, Pa-silo.

You got it. It’s all about keeping truth from the top. Leadership loves to control the narrative. It’s their way of keeping their teams down to protect their own jobs. This is systemic all the way up to some senior leaders. Leaders aka senior vice presidents or even a ceo at such a small company would take the time to check in with the ground troops. However, they don’t because they are dead weight too…

And now another, why?
Because the industry knows Pacira does not develop leaders.

Example, Murphy went to a management assessment program where all RDs, no ADs, were tested, interviewed, and assessed using role-playing actors in tough personnel situations, critical-thinking exercises, and managing a inbox of 100 emails to determine ability to delegate. organize, and prioritize. Guesss who finished last out of all the RDs? Pete Murphy, former VP of Sales and fired Tela-Bio COO. That's how inept our management team was/is in picking leaders. Yep, last.

Former RDs that were worth a damn are now in COO,VP, and AD roles*. Climbed the wall and escaped the asylum. Makes me ache for the old David Kaplan days.

*And making a shit ton more money!
