Another one jumps Xeljanz- RSD bolts to Primary Care

Including the RD departure this week, add 3 more reps resigning brings the 2020 6 month total to
15% Reps
30% DMs
65% RDs
70% Brand Team

More alarming is the 24 month total is a lot higher than these 2020 numbers which also including Global President, North Amer Pres, which is an unheard of % turnover

Culture & Leadership speaks volume just looking at talent retention /turnover.
(Hint highl quality talent does not like Marketing driven directive style in a Primary Care business model which is what ALL I&I had become the past 2 yrs. IDK if its the new Pres & VP from Europe's socialize medicine structure where the model is more directive top down marching orders or what but top talent has left the past 2yrs & you have to look at what had transpired during that time)

Is Xeljanz a part of Pfizer?

literally no one cares. It’s like the same person that posts over and over everyday about Xeljanz. Thousands upon thousands of Other employees. Majority of people love working for Pfizer. Xeljanz folks just post all day on cafe Pharma. You don’t like it leave. There are only like a handful of reps in sales force left anyways. Certainly not worth posting everyday about all the turnover. Sad.

Disgruntle unhappy reps in Xeljanz division.
What 200 reps total over there out of 10,000 total Pfizer? Not even 2% of the salesforce
Yes all of the global Pfizer employees know Xeljanz was once grand & now is horrendous due to so called new leadership. So what!
Lateral over to one of the many others.
Agree sounds like most of the orginal reps are gone anyway so live w it or lateral out.
It is that simple and easy.
Hell your Regional Director just did that exact thing so he gave you a perfect blue print on how to leave I&I.

Please no more weekly updated on people who left as we all know they are fleeing in groves.
Lets focus on the CEOs job losses outside of Covid & figure out impact of 10,000 reps not just 200 in Xeljanz

Yes exactly!! Saying what the other 9,800 reps are all thinking. They should just start a seperate cafe Pharma company thread for Xeljanz outside of Pfizer so we don’t have to see the daily and weekly “another one bites the dust” or “turnover this turnover that sob story “

Agree keep that toxic division separate from us ! Please!

JB is a cool guy and he got along great w former leadership. Not so much with new one.
Final straw was pressured by VP to hire a 18month rep for the Tampa DM spot cuz VP has favoritism with her.
A big problem with the vision & future of the division w VP basically mandating the last 4 DMs who bolted the sinking ship be backfilled with Xel reps of whom 2 females only been w X rep for less than 2yrs & all 4 had zero operations or mgt development.

Leadership is so watered down with talent due to the new VP mindset.
Also some of the HQ decisions made has really been a head scratcher.
This is a great lateral for JB as he is going to work for an awesome inspiring & motivating VP that cares about others not himself who has great leadership skills--- not a task manager with no leadership like before.[/QUOTE

sad to see the $hit $how this once great division has turned into. what could possibly come next?

It’s not the entire division. The Derm side is a great place to work. Management has been great and they give us enough autonomy to move business. Don’t know much about the Rhuem/Gastro side with Xeljanz. I do know they probably overestimated the sales for GI indication with the expansion. The other thing to look at is the pipeline. Most of the R&D is focused on Derm. 70% of I&I Revenue will be generated from the Derm side with 3-5 products coming out in the next 3-5 years for diseases that have no good options to treat. That means no real competition.

Derm division is a failure
