What happened to D.E. from NC in ops? He didn't last long did he?
And whatever happened to good ol' J.B. in Dallas ?
guys, for the love of God, If you have any talent do something else for a living..you will be so much happier when you do.
I am not J.B. One day I stopped, pulled my head out of my own crack and got a new job that needed a real business professional. I suggest you do the same, you will be glad you did. if you have talent don't waste it! for the love of GOD!
You mean don't waste your talent at LabCorp ?
I agree 100 %. I spent many years and it was a good company for several years. After the higher ups got jealous of how much the reps were making, they changed the comp plan to a retention plan. If you are a hunter, this is not the place to be. Nobody in the company really understands the comp plan, my RMBD did not have a clue about it. You only get, " it is what it is" answers when you question your pay. No exceptions are approved and you will eat all losses. So I agree with the above poster, don't waste you talent on this company. It's best years are behind them. For any lab they buy, they will tell you nothing is going to change. That may be true for about a year. You will go on their comp plan and more than likely get laid off.
That is unless, of course, you have been with company many years and figured out a way to insulate yourself. You see there is a small pyramid throughout this company that allows for "ass-kissing" to maintain your postion or status. Granted there are many productive, hard working people, but they will always be bypassed for promotion in favor of those who pucker up. Hard working people in this company is like a person in business shoes trying to run on ice.
Who's talking about JB ? Worthless, no good, but fantastic at buttering administrators up ! Doesn't know much or has a limited personality, but sure can spread the Chap-Stik.
"Yes sir." "Whatever you say sir." "So long as your my superior, I'm here to agree." "My opinion is, if you think the new test is great, I think it's great!" "Yes. I told the hospital director he's the best." "And oh yes, exclusivity you have." "Here. Let me get the door."
Seriously. You could be quoting a number of people in management.
