Another executive bites the dust!

Wheels are in motion for yet another one to go. This time, unlike ES, people will celebrate this overdue departure. And before I give anyone false hope. It’s not ding dong.

ok, so this played out. But really is this intentional Chris, Celine and Nicole within a few months. Seems so disruptive. Is Tom really ok with this continued exodus. It’s wacky. I have never seen so many VPs jump ship. These past 12 months are not normal and I have been around a long time.

You're naive if you believe this wasn't planned by their higher ups and that they "jumped ship" instead of getting pushed out

oh they were pushed out. its crazy tho. with the exception of LS and RT, the entire RDLT is the absolute worst group of people. they don't know how to develop drugs, they don't know how to lead and they are a mix of arrogant and mean. just really bad.

Wow I didn’t know Ari left. He was being featured not too long ago. Patrick leaving was unexpected, right after a promotion. Elaine left but didn’t really leave for the longest time. Aware of the RD shake up too.. did anyone else leave?

Are there any great functions or leaders still here?

Alert, alert, alert - another VPs fallen and they won’t get up. Seriously is anyone keeping count of the VPs that have left in 2023. What is wrong with AbbVie. Big pharma, well resourced but can’t keep people.

Is it really that bad or is it just better out there.

patience. change is coming. at some point the mismanagement will be addressed. the board and shareholders will demand better leadership. the lack of rnd productivity will be reckoned with. we can’t keep dtc’ing our way out of this.

and at this point, yes, it is better out there. any leader worth anything is leaving because who would want to be associated with this?

why can’t devsci hold on to vp’s who are not long time Abbott/abbvie? really I want to know. is it that easy to find a comparable job. I don’t think so. this last one was barely here a year after trying so hard to recruit.

Your CEO that just left the company looked like he was from the cast of Tales From the Crypt.

Then I read about him, and he didn't even have a college degree.

Was he an alien? WTF. Your company is a joke.

He's incredibly successful, rich, and globally respected having staged a corporate coup leading to a multi billion dollar organization with a soaring stock. What have you done with your BA and online MBA?
