Another District Manager gone

No loss? I don't care who the guy was "buddies" with. He knows the market, and the product, certainly better than the hacks we have been bringing in from the outside. Big loss.

I come from Quest and worked with all of these folks you now have (from the Ameripath division). 90% of them are total jokes who had no success here. Can't imagine they will fare better there.

Chooses? Doubtful. You don't think he knew about all the bribes in the NE? BFFs w MM, MZ and sucking up to every slimy manager at Thermo.

He wasn't part of the sales team when that stuff was going on.

He's a solid dude who got dumped in the NY market after the shit hit the fan to try and clean up the mess. I really liked working with him and hope he moved on to much bigger & better things.

TB - the east regional is a train-wreck. She is ugly inside and out. Her team hates her - couldn't lead her way out of a paper bag.

MZ - is a joke of a leader. She surrounds herself with below standard leaders from her past and they sit around all day telling each other how great they are.

Let's make less calls, hire people with no experience and lead and train them with DM's who don't spend time in the field because they are clueless. That is great strategy!!!!

soooooo true lol!!!!

I recently asked my manager how they would verbalize the selling points within the Halken reprint and they just stared at me with a blank face.

If you want to see something funny.....ask any one of these new managers how they would verbalize something from one of our clinicals.

Would rather hire people with no sales experience and actually teach them as opposed to do what Phadia did: hire pharma reps who do nothing but drop off samples and memorize a 15 second "pitch". There was no talent there at all.

Move on Phadia loser! Sure you made lots of money and the company treated you great but this is Ameripath, where we have conference calls to have conference calls with matrix spreadsheets to pretend we are actually working. Sure the target bonus is lower now $50,000 to level the playing field for everyone in the company. But remember Phadia scum you are making more than the new hires here. How much can they pay veterans, teachers or any other people with no sales experience. I bet they are paying these new hires $50,000 base.

We never had samples you moron.....that is how much you Ameripath bozo's know about the business you are in charge of. Stick to excel!!

To the brain surgeon who composed this post, what I meant was all you Phadia peeps who came from Pharma (ie all of you). Your years sample dropping prior to coming to Phadia is probably what prepared you to only be capable of a 15 second stand up call here. Don't worry, with time you can learn how to actually sell something. But give it time. Don't want you to overheat from actually working.

True dat! All you Phadia peeps who produced over 20% growth year over year are going to learn how to take it easy. There's no more pressure here at ameripath. Let's Ubuntu it out and break down those silos.
