An Open Letter to Ryan Walters

Whatever moron posted this must be from the South. Guessing Georgia
Close, but no. Go a bit farther south and east to find the hotbed of Walters opposition, although the Georgians are no W lovers either, even less so now that commissions are being slashed... again. Resentment builds in the ranks when the spoils of sales conquest are not evenly distributed to the actual producers and are increasingly diverted to support a growing leadership structure that has little impact on business stability or growth.

The only reason a few customers take Biotronik seriously enough to use in their patients is the leadership of RW. There is no way they would consider Bio if Ryan wasn’t at the helm.

Exactly how many "new" customers has RW converted over from loyalty to BIO from BSC, MDT or ABT in the last 3.5 years he's been at the "helm" that are contributing to substantial sales growth? I'm seriously asking, that's not a rhetorical question. Can he convince someone to trial BIO? Sure, I'd expect nothing less of any salesperson. That's hardly a mark of success.

If he was so good at selling the BIO story and getting customer to "take BIO seriously" as you suggest, why are we not seeing that reflected in the sales numbers? Why is BIO CRM not taking market share from the big 3 and retaining those gains? Why more than a decade after Jake first introduced a campaign to push BIO past 10% U.S. market share the company still has not achieved that goal?

If you are honest with yourself you would acknowledge that, at best, the company is treading water under his leadership and the reason why any physician takes BIO seriously is the quality of the products themselves and the service provided by their local representation. That's it.

Right, Biotronik had no sales prior to Ryan Walters because no one took the company seriously. Makes total sense. You might want to try the red pill.
