AMRIX DISASTER

Who is the genius who just changed the reason why we did so well with Amrix in 2008? This company has done so well because we GO WHERE THE BUSINESS IS.

Now some idiot thinks it's a good idea to have T and P targets? Is this a joke? These targets are worthless and someone in corporate wants to measure us on these. Well some of them may be decent but some suck. Stop creating pointless metrics to justify your jobs. This isn't big pharma

Jim Reilly what are you thinking?? Amrix is 60% of our bonus and you gave the big MR doctors to a rentable sales force and instead you want us to waste our time with these nobody, decile 4 doctors?

Kiss your lofty amrix goals for 2009 buh-bye.

Don't you get it? They get the big important writers so it looks like Inventiv was a good idea. Meanwhile, this decision could be worse than Takeda.
They get to call on the docs that we put our blood, sweat and tears into so that when these docs keep writing they can act like Inventiv actually made impact with the big guys. What a joke

Cephalon doesn't make bad decisions Inventiv will be great. Look at how well we did with Sparlon and Vivitrol and Takeda! There are really smart people running this ship. Dont' worry they would never make a bad decision

My ventiv partner told me their job was to drop samples and get signatures. He flat out told me they have no incentive for them to do anything else but that. Cephalon is tracking their calls per day and signatures or they don't get paid. So they are just going to flood our big writers with samples. And my bullsh#$ area manager tries to tell me that we need to treat them like Cephalon yeah right they'll never be like cephalon with that set up. I don't fault the dude for what he has to do. he is just following direction from his boss

YOUR VENTIV PARTNER IS EITHER A NEWBIE OR A LAZY A.., MOST OF US ARE INTERESTED IN GROWING THE BUSINESS TOGETHER. GETTING PAID ON ZIP CODES WILL GET US TO SEE DRS NOT CALLED ON BEFORE OR DRS WHERE YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ANY SCRIPTS. IF A DR IS WRITING AMRIX WE WOULD LEAVE HIM ALONE UNLESS YOU THE CEPHALON PARTNER SUGGESTS IT'S OK. YES, WE DO HAVE SOME INTERESTING REQUIREMENTS BUT IT DOES NOT STOP US FROM MAKING THE RIGHT CALLS/SAMPLE ACTIVITIES. GOOD LUCK, I WANT TO KEEP WORKING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

This stuff is great. Less sedation means less accidents. In other words, we are saving lives everytime we sell one capsule. How did the world function without this stuff? God bless Amrix.

Real simple boys and girls:
You make 100K to sell, if you cannot sell, you will be gone along with thousands of other reps in other companies who were going through the motions like you are.
Stop crying and learn how to close!

We are now becoming big pharma. All these other companies are laying reps off because they figured out more than 1 rep in an office was a waste and doctors hate it.

Now Cephalon has moved to the big pharma philosophy of multiple reps in an office. didnt anyone pay attention?? more reps in an office = more layoffs.

All my inventiv partner keeps telling me is their philosophy is multiple reps in an office really works! NO WONDER THEY ARE CONTRACT SALES

Spoken like a true dumb ass in upper management at Cephalon. Good to see that things will never change there. You are pathetic. How do you justify your existance pushing a ridiculously high priced "flexeril". Once again, it's criminal!

The real issue issue here is not whether our drug is overpriced - the real problem has little do with Amrix at all. Any branded drug is going to be expensive. If you can't work under that premise, pharma sales probably isn't for you.
This problem is the future direction of the corporation. MM, we know you read these so take an honest listen. Your people CARE about this company. Forget the few trash talkers on here, 95% of Ceph employees love their job, believe in this company and want to continue the success we have had throughout a failing industry. The reason why we have sustained is because we have remained specialized. We have given doctors what they valued 20 years ago in this industry, one face representing one company with innovative products. Doctors speak so highly of Cephalon because they know if they need something they can give a call to the rep that has always been there for them with the same reliable, breakthrough products. They know that Cephalon reps are top-notch, extremely clinical, established professionals that have been in this industry long enough to understand and respect their needs in the healthcare market. I love selling for this corporation and I believe in our products. But with all of these copromotes you dilute the Cephalon brand. When you hire people off the street that don't understand Cephalon, who view us as another pharma company, you devalue our company AND our products in the eyes of physicians. You allow non-Cephalon employees to go into our top supports, our top prescribers, those that have MADE this company successful with their product usage, and that is a bad business decision. You want to expand our reach without having to incur the cost of expanding our sales force? Fine, but they should be focusing on drumming up new business with new doctors, not OUR doctors. Look what happened when Takeda went into our offices - Provigil flattened. Look what happend with Cephalon and Alkermes. Amrix is going to be next. Amrix did well with no additional hands in the pot last year, just CNS and PCS. Now they are going to be the primary drivers for this drug and everyone in your sales force knows it is a very bad move. We beg you to bring back our reputation and accountability in our offices.

Aren't you going to be launching a new drug in June????? Stop pretending your special because you are not. You're over paid, over stretched and undersold.....you can't even break 8k scripts a week with this drug. Don't be mad because mgmt decided to bring in Inventiv to get out and sell to the offices you overlooked or couldn't get too. Just go out, work and be glad you have a job. It's the ungrateful twits like most of the clowns that posted on here that will be drummed out of the business in no time at all........now go sell and quit crying like a bunch of over paid babies....

Your InVentiv rep is a moron. Our job is to increase sales. In addition to this we must meet certain standards that are part of the agreement with Cephalon: number of doctor calls per day, percentage of docs sampled, and percentage of calls with signature. Just be glad that you do not have to do the same and let your InVentiv rep do their job selling as well as satisfying the metric requirements of the contract. If we do not meet the metrics, our bonus suffers even if we are number one in the district, region, or nation. It may not be fair or "right", but it is the requirement of the contract.

yes the Cephalon reps are still selling this drug, just as we did last year and exceeded expectations in 2008. The drug did great with high quality reps. Inventiv reps don't appear to be selling this drug. it's been flat since they joined our sales force and entered our offices in december. Let's see how long it takes for everyone else to figure this out

I'm with InVentiv and have to say the Cephalon reps are garbage... maybe Garbage is too harsh... they are just not sales people. They are sample droppers and signatures collectors... They stick to their call list and when I asked my partner if I can visit an office with high potential, that person told me NO - stick to the plan. If this "person" was ANY GOOD AT ALL... they would want another voice in the office and this is an office with little to no sales coming from it. But my Cephalon rep said to stay with the plan. I don't take anything personnel, I just want to make some money. And some people do better then others, some Doctors take to other people or other sales methods. If you weren't so worried about being EXPOSED, you'd welcome another sales person to your world, because in the end, we are going to make you money as well.

IDIOT!!!!! if this person was ANY good I wouldn't have had to ask to go and sell to the doctors they have been selling to for the last year. EXCUSE ME... YOU ARE GETTING ZERO SALES BRAINIAC!!! Why not let someone help.

INVENTIV... BS! The only offices my PCP reps are calling on are the ones I have writing and they are over sampling them. Come on PCP reps did you drop off 4 copiers at your last job when only one was paid for? And for the rest of you I need a new cell phone plan... so there may actually be something you can help me with. I have been positive Cephalon for 3 years, but branding rent a reps with the Cephalon logo is a huge mistake.

If you want to make money work hard become a true professional like real Cephalon employees and your base will double or triple like ours.
