Is this hiring freeze affecting jobs starting in the new year? I was offered a job at Amgen and was told the job offer could be rescinded before my start date?

So we got word that the hiring freeze nation wide for the CV division is over. Guidance to hire open territories. Is this across all divisions or just CV? Anyone else in other divisions hear the same?

If there are any mirror counterparts ANYWHERE they should be eliminated. Seriously. Most territories could probably be doubled in CV.

We all no that there is no access in CV. TO is scared of incliseran launch though and thinks more reps that can't get in will help.

Thy typically do a hiring freeze before a RIF. The next RIF is planned for November timeframe.

there was NO RIF in Nov.

You all are saying the same thing...RIF Nov. It's Dec. No RIF

Companies got COVID grants. Once that time expires we will downsize in 2022. It’s especially the only way for us to reset.
