Regardless of the opinions of him, don't get confused in the fact that he is clearly going to wait out the non-compete (that he probably pushed for) to end. After a year, maybe 11 months at this point, he will pop up in the same field with a mission to ruin BRLI. Opko (Pharmaceuticals) has no place in diagnostics outside of partnering for drug development. Frost and GH should brace for Amer vetting out their weaknesses and pitting said weaknesses against them. He isn't a very solid long term strategic thinker but he does know the strengths and weaknesses of companies in this field. If he finds a good match for himself, he could very well make business difficult for OPKO's new toy in diagnostics.
