Amarin Managers

Who cares about the managers? This company is a joke. IT'S FISH OIL!!!!!

How are those words on the palate? I'll bet bitter, with a lingering and gamey aftertaste. “This is absolutely the most significant study in the field of cardiovascular risk reduction since the statins were introduced,” said Dr. Matthew Budoff, a cardiologist at UCLA and a Vascepa study investigator.

Total joke, huh? Oh, and it's not fish oil. It's a single molecule, icosapent ethyl, that can be derived from many sources. Fish happen to be abundant carriers of this fatty acid and are therefore the most economical resource for extraction. It saves lives though, unlike OTC "fish oil" which has more DHA than EPA, which raises bad LDL. But you already seem to know everything, so who am I kidding...

Boom! I'm looking forward to joining the team soon to promote this drug. Very exciting news this morning.

Luck of the draw with our managers. We have some good ones, some bad ones and some I’ve heard who’ve been fired from previous companies for sexual harassment. You just never know about people.
I heard a Sales Director was fired for sexual harassment recently? Also what happened to LA Manager? I heard she was awesome to work for!

If you want to enjoy your job and enjoy your manager do what the job duties are and communicate back and forth between you and your manager as they require it. This whole industry micromanages now. If you cant do these things you will hate your job, hate your life, and hate your manager. Avoiding confrontation is my best advice. You'll only actually be with them a few times per year if you think about it. But if you challenge and push them and resist its going to be ugly.

If you can't get along with your manager, you have to look for another gig. And like you said, fighting it, is stupid.

That is why I gave up working for someone else. I just didn't like being treated like a child.

We will be treated like children beginning tomorrow. Check your email and get ready for phone calls from your superiors. No, nobody will let go, but the koolaid will be pouring heavily tomorrow and you will be expected to drink it. Chug it in fact. Everything will be ok, I promise....says the manager. Stay focused, says the manager. I'll keep you informed as I learn more about what our next moves are, says the manager. This is normal, says the manager. Make extra calls today, says the manager.
