why are you all surprised that GNE parties at D&B - I can't name the dept but it WAS a department wide party near the end of the year. Not the first one last year either. Whole dept was dismissed early to go to this party. Green badges were also allowed to go.. not to blame them for the craziness.

I feel like I have been in a terrible nightmare for the past few months. I still don't know how a good company can become a chaos in such a short period of time. It is unbelievable. Yes, we have too many people. Yes, we are not efficient. Yes, we have challenges. But do we have to destroy the company to fix all these issues. I wish I could just wake up and realize that this has just been a nightmare of witches.

Genentech employees, nowadays, are the best of the best con artist that HR has ever produced. Amidst, the ex pole dancers and current pole smokers, male and female, are the best gold diggers; the best con artist; and the best failed actors. All Genentech has proven is they’ve collected the best interviewees in the industry. But when it comes to substantial work on paper. You’ll probably get a good 30 minutes work out of an 8 hour period. With all the breaks. The breaks within the breaks. The myriads of unnecessary meetings of holding each other’s hands. Who am I is not of importance. All you need to know is that I speak in the level that Genentech’s people have shown and treated me, with disdain and disrespect. I too, will always speak against Genentech with the same disdain and disrespect. I’m speaking up for patients who do not know the intentions of a company who foster such Abuse and Mistreatment of their employees will also Mistreat their Patients, as well.


When I’ve come across and spoken to a Genentech employee. Or anyone else that will come to speak, to one, outside of work. This is what you’ll experience. ZERO Character. ZERO Personality. They are quick to name drop Genentech just to see the fawning response. You will notice they never display humility or humbleness. You will also continue to find that they are lazy judge mental thinkers that have to circle jerk each other in the Genentech echo chamber. They make mountain out of mole hills. They are quick to make assumptions and jump to conclusions without offering solutions. They are always ready delegate than take ownership. A very weak minded and gullible work force with delusional thinking that everything is Hunger Games or Game of Throne. Again, an easy influential group influenced by television. Everything is cliched and rehashed in their bourgeois snootiness. Immature, unprofessional, and undisciplined. A shady group that will easily renege in their dealings. All learned traits in Genentech’s toxic atmosphere in where employees are encouraged to throw their own Momma under the bus. Inclusive? HA! Diversity of thought does not exist there. Not for Conservative Intellects. As Colonol Jesep, once said, “You can’t handle the Truth!” Well, you weren’t ready to hear this Truth, but to quote one of my favorite scriptures...”You shall know the truth. And the truth shall set you free.”

Wow!! This is like a psychiatric couch for you. And I’m not being mean here or mocking any mental illness but maybe you do need to get therapy. Let it go. Totally agree! So sorry that the original poster had such a negative experience with GNE. Yes, there are bad apples in every company so to be expected. I left GNE oncology field sales a few years ago and had no problem finding another job. I really like my new company but nothing will replace the good years at GNE. Heading south when I left and from what I hear a true disaster now - heartbreaking. The people were the best part - intelligent, ethical, caring, and great team members. Yes, a few sociopaths but just tried to step around them. I will always be grateful for my years at GNE. Original poster, hope you find peace and realize whoever you dealt with was a small and unfortunate sample. Good luck.

Again, the Truth hurts. *Shrugs* My experience when talking to a Genentech employee away from work settings....I find them to be Selfish, Shallow, and Unscrupulous. I can see why you would struggle in such a place. I really do feel sorry for you. It’s void of humor. A very uninspiring environment. That place has bad juju. Just Bad vibes overall.
