30 DMs cut really doesn’t sound like enough to me.
So 200 PC reps being cut and only 30 DMs? One DM for every 20 reps is the correct ratio we need to get to.
DMs approve expense reports by cell phone & don’t even manage a budget. Everything is automated so much so that one DM could handle 20 reps easily.
When I rode with Reps as an RST, I knew within 3-4 calls if the rep had been doing their job. I could tell if they had engaged in conversations before, knew their products or been thinking about diff ways to sell them, liked & known by the staff, etc. WTF you gonna teach them 2 days every 4-5 weeks once they have the job figured out. I could go deeper on this but there’s no point. Everybody knows what I’m talking about
