AIR Reorg on the horizon?

Something’s up. Talk of white-spacing areas (which was unheard of in years past) is now being freely discussed by the managers. Prep for a restructuring? Big love fest meeting in two months. Will the hammer drop then? Remember New Orleans?
 


















My district hasn’t experienced any micro-management. And really it’s just full steam ahead, as is, for 2024. But since Syneos is no longer invited to the meeting in April, I do wonder… I’m not worried about big cuts, just wonder about a reorg and what that will look like.

1. Don't worry, work hard.
2. It doesn't hurt to test the job market for a current or future job.
3. Don't ever think the company cares much about you. You are expendable.

A lot of our district is white spaced already which includes easy access pulmonologists. The amount of business that the company just doesn’t let us get is crazy. Easy business for AZ

Countless offensive emails. Phone calls, at all hours of night

Makes sense that at this point in the trelegy life cycle that management would turn trelegy fully over to the syneos people for cost savings in utilizing a contract team vs. the total compensation package given to gsk sales teams. For those with a long tenure stick around for a package- otherwise start looking around for a new job.

It's been tried before. We received 100's of hate comments on our social media. Dozens of negative google reviews. Countless offensive emails. Phone calls, at all hours of night.

If that happens, I don't think it will until 2025. Although I heard there was a hiring freeze now... Only filling openings with Syneos, no GSK direct hires. But I think they will expand Vaccines and many GSK reps will roll over into openings there.

Also, the company is backfilling vacated Syneos spots with GSK people from other territories. Basically reshuffling the deck at this point.
 






I’ve only seen GSK reps replaced w Syneos reps. Very rarely to they refill with GSK, and I’ve never heard of a GSK rep taking over a territory that had a Syneos rep. I can also see Trelegy going to a stand alone Syneos team very soon. Some GSK folks rolled into vaccines, and the rest given a package. 2025 sounds about right to me

But I never count on this company to anything that would make sense
