Speaking of standards...what is the criteria for becoming a manager here? Is there a defined path for getting into management? Is it who you know or who you aligned yourself with to get chosen? Just curious!

Who you know somewhat. Who you align with mostly. Been here since the beginning. That's what I've seen. Merit irrelevant.

Some areas are worst than others. In our area the managers conspire to take anti rep measures together. Our director would sell his mother just to be in first place. We also have 2 managers that are still here who when they joined Astellas fired everyone. They now think they are loved. Everyone in the team knows the truth. Who are these managers? No, not in Alabama, lol.
