These rumors of us being bought have been going on for years now..... S&N was always the main one and that option is off the table. You would have to think they want to sell tho with TPG being the owner.... Who would you guys want it to be? If we were even to bet purchased.....

That’s what the buyer would want, the shoulder. It’s silly to think that it’s a great shoulder and nobody wants it. ZB and Depuy have old systems and could right a check for us.

Why would ZB buy you? Same with J&J? Do you have a clue on who is running your company? You have a decent shoulder which I am sure will be improved upon to actually compete at a higher level with ZB because you now have Biomet engineers as well as surgeon consultants. Your knee needs major improvement and your hips are average. Navigation for shoulders is a joke. ZB and J&J? Who knows if J&J will keep DePuy? You have sharp leadership that knows how to fix the areas you have neglected. Question is? How much money the investment group wants to put in? Maybe Arthrex?

We were bought by a venture capital group to specifically be sold for more than they paid. They buy companies for less than they sell them for. It’s business for them and they’ll be on to the next company.

The big 3 control the market period! Smith and Nephew on down the line are always on the block and can be acquired at anytime. None of us will organically grow enough to be a significant player. Mergers and acquisitions is the future.

Zero chance of this. What do we have that ZB needs? It would be another Biomet deal, which Z has has regretted from day one. ZB got sports and upgraded their upper extremities portfolio, and that’s it...rationalizing nearly everything else. ZB Connecticut flunkies desperately looking for their own payout via a ZB sale (world’s worst kept secret).

Totally agree with the ZB comments above. I’m hearing Arthrex has been in looking around. Nothing but rumors at this point but you never know.

I’ve heard about Arthrex as well. Makes total sense and I like the culture there. Great company that wants to be a little bigger, why not?

We’ll be invaluable for the Arthrex people or whoever buys us. We know the products and have the relationships. Management will be gone but the field reps will be solid.
