True! Those who have been there for over 10 yrs or so don’t care about anything at this point. Their pay day is coming. They can retire.Lol only if you’ve been there for decades.
Got 15% of base. R&D got 100%. No info. about other departments.
Most of us on the commercial side will be let go. HQ is another story. so HQ did well with the retention and so did the MSL team.
reps didn’t get much and will be let go within 9 weeks after acquisition.
Retention bonuses were function specific. They have not yet looked at individuals who they plan on retaining after the deal closes. They know that they will not need to retain certain functions going forward.Other departments (but mainly individuals) got 75-80%
Not if the regulatory boards stop it or delay itdeal is a done deal!! Pfizer and Board at SG will make it happen
What regulatory boards? Haha this is Pfizer. Money talks, this deal is done and over with around October. Not if the regulatory boards stop it or delay it
Sooner than October since the other deals Pfizer had done within 7 months. What regulatory boards? Haha this is Pfizer. Money talks, this deal is done and over with around October.

Pfizer gave up the rights to the other drug with Merck so they can move faster!! they are clearing every hurdle to make this transaction go smoothly
Nah, deal will be approved. FTC has failed to block any merger in the last year. Pfizer and Seagen products don't overlap after divesture of Bavencio. This is probably how it will go:
Deal will close, it's just when. Initially I was hopeful for October 2023. Now I think it may be March 2024, which is fine because I can collect partial focus grant and bonus and bounce.
- End of May, FTC requests more information (stock drops)
- FTC files suit to block deal. Although probably unlikely as Pfizer isn't into the same bundling practices as Amgen and is riding the halo effect of being the savior of the Covid crisis
- FTC case goes to a Trump judge who tosses it out. SGEN stock goes up to $215 at least.
