Acclarent

OMG!!! I was thinking about applying for a role with company. I was told it was an "expansion". After reading this thread I don't know why any sane person would even consider going to work for this organization. Thank god for cafepharma. I hope more people read this before leaving a perfectly good job to go to Acclarent.

Every company's board has non stop bashing. I'm with a top tiered company and I saw a posting for a region sales manager role in Pa, Oh, WV, Mi. How much do u think the pay is? What is your opinion on your products. And compared to your competitors where do u feel u rank? For most of u, I get it it sucks here, leave now. Don't apply. But every company is that way. I'm with a top tier company now. I do t want to wait 5-7 more years to move into an AVP the. Another 3-5 years for a VP role.

Then come here, pound your chest, and get laid off in two years. You will never be a VP here, unless you are coming from another JnJ operating company, which you obviously are not. If your were, you'd know that the internal word of mouth is to avoid a post here like the plague.

Newsflash! You don't have that role and won't get it at your current company regardless and you're certainly not getting it here. People who "wait" for things aren't "top tier" management at any company. Settle for settling because you've already have resigned to being average.

YOU!

The reality is, HR is there to serve the interests of the employer. To the extent that they also serve the interests of the employees, it’s in service of the larger goal of serving the company.

Take responsibility for your termination, it was not an accident. You and you alone are responsible for your current situation. The people retained are valued employees, with similar values, morals, leadership styles and goals.

The good news is that God promises to help us in our financial lives—even when we don’t know where our provision is going to come from. Jesus told the masses in His day (many of whom were unemployed), “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” (Matt. 6:34 MSG).

Truth is, prayer always increases the activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and over the long haul God responds to the cries of His people and will redeem the ugly circumstances of their lives by weaving them into His good purposes. Keep praying into your situation.
