Abbvie Automobile/Fleet Car Complainers…

What are you talking about? It's a benefit that makes up your total compensation. You get a downgrade in your car, it's like getting a pay cut. What's the point of getting a new car for family vs. work when I am paying out of my pocket every paycheck and getting taxed for the fringe benefit (personal use)?
Fuck your family. You don't like what we offer? Quit or buy your own car.

Well said!

Holly fuck! What a bunch of self in titled snowflakes! The company doesn’t have to give you shit. Go ahead and drive your soccer mom mobile. Pay for your own gas, insurance, taxes, maintenance. A company car that you can use for personal use is worth 12k in compensation. Be happy with it and keep your mouth shut. Or get another job!

this is coming from someone who does not have a company car nor who is aware of the financials behind what we are “provided”. The comparison between Abbvie and other similar companies is what the discussion topic is. There are people who are loyal to this company and are aware of the discrepancy behind their fleet policies. It’s not as simple as stated above. Our raises and base salaries are not reflective of the money we have to front just to drive the car for the field sales role.

You do realize we pay basically a car payment per month and get taxed on the car use as well??

This idiot from home office knows nothing. If part of your compensation package changed to where you essentially got a pay cut, you’d be complaining too. STFU, sit down, and enjoy your cubicle and your hourly wage.

home office part time cubicle employee who feels the need to chime in without knowledge just to feel important and be validated

go home, Linda

This thread is hilarious because it’s started by someone working in home office in a desk job, not by a field sales rep putting their life, safety and comfort on the line 24/7.

We already get charged a monthly use fee (hidden) and if we want a car which can function for our family in the weekends, over $300 a month extra? So $400 plus for a car we don’t even own? Allergan provided us comfortable, safe options, and if we want a car even close to their previous options it’s $5K a year!

The fleet policy isn’t even close to what other companies currently offer (choices, cost), so yeah it’s kind of a big deal. So enjoy sitting at your desk and stirring the pot in shit you don’t even know.
Totally with you. In addition, no USA car options and you will need to pay extra for a hybrid. The wheels fleet management company is terrible on service and providing inaccurate answers to questions. Driving as much as field sales teams drive, they should provide better car options for sales teams and give no charge choices (more than one) instead they give the reps a bad option and the Wheels tries to push you to the other option which is leasing a car from them and paying over 450 a mth extra. The no charge option should not be $140 a month for personal use when you have another personal car. AbbVie wake up and make changes to keep your employees safe and happy.

They don't care about your safety. Abbvie is cheap. Whether it's bonus or company car options.

My partner got a medical exemption. He’s getting the Highlander at no extra cost.
