this is coming from someone who does not have a company car nor who is aware of the financials behind what we are “provided”. The comparison between Abbvie and other similar companies is what the discussion topic is. There are people who are loyal to this company and are aware of the discrepancy behind their fleet policies. It’s not as simple as stated above. Our raises and base salaries are not reflective of the money we have to front just to drive the car for the field sales role.

You do realize we pay basically a car payment per month and get taxed on the car use as well??

Totally with you. In addition, no USA car options and you will need to pay extra for a hybrid. The wheels fleet management company is terrible on service and providing inaccurate answers to questions. Driving as much as field sales teams drive, they should provide better car options for sales teams and give no charge choices (more than one) instead they give the reps a bad option and the Wheels tries to push you to the other option which is leasing a car from them and paying over 450 a mth extra. The no charge option should not be $140 a month for personal use when you have another personal car. AbbVie wake up and make changes to keep your employees safe and happy.
