ABBV STOCK HITS RECORD ALL TIME HIGH

Richard will testify. This is going to get interesting. Will congress give fluff question to please thier lobbyists and special interest donors or play hard ball?

The powerful Senate committee has invited seven drugmakers to testify. Merck & Co. and Pfizer were first to confirm attendance of their respective company heads, followed by Sanofi, Bristol-Myers Squibb and AbbVie. J&J will send the head of its pharmaceuticals division, while AstraZeneca is still reviewing the committee's request.

Probably soft questions. All smoke and mirrors. Corporate hacks and politicaians are all liars and in cahoots playing the same corrupt game. It’s all a show and in the end the rich get richer and patients pay out the ass. For this hearing I say YAWN ....nuttin gonna happen.

I guess a stock price loss of 42% during the last year is heading in the right direction.....

>>> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey Einstein, you missed the point... ABBV is low right now, dividend day is February 15, if you reinvest your dividends you'll be getting more shares since it's on sabbatical, when it picks up later in 2019, "Instant Money"! You're not following the logic, and obvious don't follow the market, market news, or market trends.

Trump’s rebate rule will kill AbbVie when the patents on Humira expire. It will mean immediate biosimilars erosion. At some point, a big deal has to be coming...

Bunch of BS. Abbvie has five drugs in their pipeline that are in the final stages for approval, most likely in 2019. That's what makes them an attractive stock buy, plus a substantial quarterly dividend.

same old chatter for the last 2 years....

Not true. Trump’s rebate rule kills AbbVie. Will mean immediate erosion of market share to biosimilars. No pipeline drug or even combination of them can address a 70% Humira decline. AbbVie has no choice but a deal. Arrogance is only reason that this won’t happen.

Don't you naysayers ever get tired of complaining and speculating? Anyone who is a long term investor (purchase, SRP, 401K, RSU, Grants, etc.) in Abbott/Abbvie (~30 years) are doing just fine, and that's because they stuck with it during the ups & downs. That's what it's all about. Reap and enjoy the benefits and profits when you retire!

AbbVie = Humira idiot. No Humira, No AbbVie.

If Humira slips by 70% to biosimilars when patents expire because limits imposed on rebating, AbbVie has only itself to blame. They will have had 10 years to fill the pipeline gap. Gonzalez, Severino, and Schumacher have completely failed in this regard.

If, if, if... If a monkey fucked an elephant, we'd need stronger trees!

If, if, if... If a monkey fucked an elephant, we'd need stronger trees!

Not if but when.

When rebate wall falls because of Trump’s new rule, the company’s ability to protect Humira evaporates as soon as the patents expire. This means the company now knows exactly when it has to have a plan B. It would seem that they have to do a deal soon and begin massively cutting costs if they are going to keep making money.
