i have heard that Lupron was shown in early studies on women with endometriosis to result in a high rate of ovarian dysfunction which lasted at least to one year after stopping the drug and maybe permanently in some women. The company was aware of this and so later studies stopped at the end of treatment so the long-lasting ovarian dysfunction would no longer be apparent since the patients were no longer followed that long. The evidence was buried by the passage of decades and by thousands of pages of subsequent studies which touted it as a wonder drug. They say this evidence and more is under court seal so it will never come up again.
