A Night At The Roxybond

we are already working on the re-org, plan is to announce in early October and last day worked will be first week September, all DSI sales gone and a skeleton crew of marketing, operations and training remain, no money no compnay
makes no sense. they aren’t going to announce a re org layoff immediately before or after the RB launch.

We got invited to save date for NSM in October ? How will be going to that?

when has anything ever made sense, we’re launching 18 months after approval. We’re obligated by the deal to launch and also they sent that out to calm the masses that are rightly thinking kaput

we are obligated to inspirion to launch because its their drug? it still doesn't make sense, why the 18 month delay? most products have a sales force already trained and ready to go and are just awaiting fda approval to enter the field to sell. finally, it still doesn't make sense to send out an oct meeting notification just to "calm the masses". you may think it will calm the masses now but the money is in launching rb. if a layoff is announced immediately before or after launch it will ruin the launch. try again.

People are doing 1 of 3 things.

- minimal work while looking for a job. They recognize writing on Wall. Who is not talking about the next wave of layoffs? Most will be gone with new job in next 3 months.

- waiting on severance. If you have more than 5 years you want this. If you have more than 10 years you are handcuffed to wait for this.

- going thru motions oblivious to fact that the end is near. Look at the numbers. Opioids are not going to pay the bills. DSI does not need you and will spit you out before the end of the year.

Launch was delayed because someone tried to include RB in a general lawsuit against new opioids entering market or something like that. Judge ruled late last Oct. that RB could not be included. Beyond that I’m not sure. I found this online during March reorg as I googled general DSI info.

Ok, what should we make of IDS hiring its own pain sales force? Why is this being done?

No idea. That’s pretty standard I would imagine. The dude/lady that posts from home office, the one that is short, sweet and to the point .... in my experience has never given bad intel. Be thankful someone there has some decency and polish your resume. If it’s not true then, great. If it is, have a plan.

Which as a result scared the 3 major insurance contracts. Even the best reps will have trouble selling without the backing of the payers. If you can USA clone your best and get rid of the clueless and the disloyal whiners.

They still have 5 months to assemble contracts. Rb was approved for a reason. But the part I find confusing is how this is supposed to be a first in class when oxaydo is already out. And why has oxaydo been a flop drug? Abuse det IRO is novel concept. That drug came out prior to the lawsuits and still couldn’t get onto formularies. What are they planning to do different with rb......becuz 1 addtl route of administration deterrence isn’t gonna be a game changer???!!!

Yes and delay is due to inability to make the drug. Think of how desperate we are for revenue and ask yourself when is last time a company had an approved drug but waited 18 months to launch? They haven’t been able to make it bottom line

No, had nothing to do with it. What you’re referring too is s common thing, they haven’t been able to make it so imagine we win a contract, fat chance, and actually doctors use, fatter chance, and we can’t even provide the drug!!!!!

its a complicated process, all manufacturing is, they can’t make bulk supply so shortage is a real issue
There are other ADFs on the market and they don't have these problems. They were able to launch on time not 18 months post fda approval. what is so complicated about the manufacturing process that we cant launch on time

Morphabond is made the same way. If we can do one we can do both

it’s not the same it’s a different molecule and is a different size, talk to anybody in house and they’ll tell you we haven’t been able to make it, believe what you want a company desperate for money just decides to wait 18 months for a new drug? get a brain

The insurance companies dont pay for ADF morphine, that's about it folks.

As the Egalet boys about it.

But the Daiichi managed care team will get it covered, OK then, right....
