I actually liked that speech. What was wrong with it? Have you ever given a motivational speech? It was about self-accountability and living each day as if it were your last because it's the journey or dash which defines you. The problem goes much higher than SP. He's a good ABD just taking orders from above.
As far as off label, my husband is a dentist and he says they are always getting detailed off label for toothpaste or rinse for gingivitis or halitosis when there is inconclusive data. Now plaque, that's anohe story all together.

It will go down some time over the next few weeks it will be sold as a transfer into a key role in the organization. But it's nothing more than parking him on the sidelines because JL doesn't know what to do with him. Seven years, no performance it had to happen eventually. The guy doesn't have the skills to develop sales people let alone RDs or managers.
SP never should have been promoted in the first place! Remember the guy before him (MV)? Anyone who ever worked with either of those guys prior to their promotions knew they never should have gotten the job. Some real good people got passed over for those two clowns. 10 wasted years.
How many ABD's have crashed and burned? MV, SP, MR, TS to name a few. Nice hiring....
All this talk about how the abd crashed and burned.....would love to see renner in the northeast. He would crash and burn like the rest. not saying that the petermeister has done anything positive here in the least. He has created a culture of fear and loathing. Rode with me when he first got here and he talked about the dash back then. His dash will cite umpteen hundred reps fired.....micromanagement of RD and DM's , a new record for meaningless spreadsheets..... and one year of success due to his acquisition of the keystone region. hahaha! yes! I am no longer with the company but this guy was a complete tool. Im hoping the little bird is correct because this was a long overdue move. This guy thinks he's god's gift to sales (he once told me everything he touched in his sales career had turned to gold...seriously) and really he is nothing but a jumped up little midget - much like the rest of management in forest. Glad I got the hell out of there!
