A Fair Giving Rate

What is the supposed purpose of taxes? According to owebama, everyone should pay their "fair share", help out others, give someone else a hand up -out.

So if that is really the philosophy, surely you accept that the coerced, forced, uncontrolled taxes where fractional pennies on the dollar help anyone, should be added to charitable giving to see how much someone believes in giving back. Realistically, charitable giving gives a higher percentage to causes and is entirely voluntary, a limited deduction on schedule A if you earn more than around $150,000 adjusted gross, so requires a real mindset of helping others.

So surely Romney's $6 million in charitable donations pus $6 or $7 million in taxes, giving him a rate of giving of close to 30% is significantly higher than most people in dollars and percentage. It also puts the likes of Buffet and owebama to shame, people who talk big but do nothing. An incredible man who puts his money where his mouth is.

Face it, this guy has been wildly successful and knows a little about managing money. Knows something about motivating people and how to build successful businesses. None of which owebama knows anything about.

I TOLD several of the lefties this was going to happen, but they are too far gone in Class Warefare and hateful envy to be able to process it. One of them even said WAAH I WANT MORE TAX RETURNS. You can bet that not one of the ingrates will have the class to admit they were wrong. I'm sure that is why none of them has responded to your post.

I trust Romney will provide more when the time is right, if needed. He gave 20 years worth to the McCain campaign. But knowing the socialist in office will use wealth, prosperity, and success as a negative instead of the very basis of America's greatness, he wants to only reveal as much as needed to appease voter concerns. I will vote for the guy who knows how to be prosperous instead of the guy who only knows how to get handouts and to play the system.

Take a look at the other years. 2010 got elevated because he at least had the decency to donate proceeds from the nobel prize he should never have been given. Prior to running for office, he gave between 1 and 5%. Over his lifetime, Romney ahs given at least 10%.

Oh, and don't miss this:
Although there is no legal requirement that candidates release their tax returns, it has been common practice since the ’70s. A release typically occurs after a candidate becomes a party nominee, not in the primaries.

President Obama is a good man. Your hatred for the man is so telling.
