Nope my manager called all of us individually last night after getting the OK from the NSD.

Wow you are really hellbent not wanting us to have our options-rsu accelerate.

All I see on this flow is greed. Which is understandable I guess. As a sales rep, you are too far down the food chain for the snr management to care. Their options vest (per their contract) and unfortunately you were not in a position to negotiate that...perhaps.
Reality, the industry is contracting and combined with access to oncologists getting more difficult, the cushy job of being a pharma sales rep is disappearing. Stop whining about money left on the table, enjoy your time off and think about what you might do next. It was fun while the party lasted!

Ever stop to think that I was traveling overseas and read the merger agreement THAT WAS PUBLICLY FILED WITH THE SEC??! Who in Onyx hired you?!
