You should probably remove the word competitive. If you were competitive you would want to grow your business, and growth requires a higher quota. There is nothing wrong with how quota was set, and I fully accept my share. What makes this hard is that the national quota is high and that means all of us get an equal share of a really high number. The formula is fine, but the national number is just really aggressive. My payout in Q1 was really good and I expect to Make up the one product I missed in Q2. Really hard to complain from my point of view.

Your points could be valid unless you have a territory that is well established. If your territory has been "worked" for 10+ years, there is very little room to grow. So yes, your quota might be attainable, but if your territory has put up numbers year over year, but not as many accounts to sell to, you might sing a different tune

The OP is 100% correct....there will be a mass exodus. It will include some very good reps.

Just out of curiosity, where are the masses going? I love the "very good reps" bit to up the impact of the threat. Laughable.
What are they going to do when their goals go up at their new job?
Every companies board has the exact same complaints. I'm a rep here and I'm happy.
The days of $300 plus at the rep level in aesthetic injectables are over. Move on. You can make $175-$225 with consistency if you build a decent territory. Award winners will make more. Galderma is by far the most stable company in the space. Get in or get out.

Thought I would just post the message below from another companies board. The above poster is right that this type of threat is on many company boards. Get over yourself and move on:


"Oh geez, mass resignation? really? you guys go right ahead...let's set aside hype and think this thru....

Anybody unhappy in their job should be active in finding a new one...Company likes happy employees (they pay plenty for consultants to make sure they are in the median pay/benefits in industry) , so they technically are getting it right...plus why do those resumes keep flooding in..?? unhappy worker = low productivity..so best of luck , don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out, this is what company is thinking. Truly hope you have something better lined up."
 








People leaving has zero impact on my happiness. Does it bother you that other people aren't as miserable as you? I feel sorry for your manager. Your thinking is so elementary.

Im not asking for you to be miserable! Please see my note stating I hope you remain happy! My manager is very happy with me, because despite my displeasure over the current state of affairs, I am still a performer!

The difference between you and I is I know my worth! Ive been a top performer for many yaers and have earned the right to expect rewards for my efforts!

Keep the conversation to the real issues at hand. This company can't get their act together. They release new products without proper sales and marketing programs and an amatuerish youtube video. Dig deep into the numbers and you will see that Silk was not nearly the boost that they expected and no material increase in the mature products. Additionally, they are getting ready to launch the mid-face product which will compete with an already entrenched Allergan product. Can't wait to see the youtube video on that one.
 








Aspire is a joke. Most offices don't even want to bother with it. Half the time the system crashes and doesn't even work. ASPIRE is NOT the answer. An innovative and cross selling plan that is effective and stimulates sales across all products is the answer.
 








I've made plenty of specific suggestions. Have a bundling program ready to go when you launch new products so that the older products get a sales boost as well. Silk was launched with nothing in place and a youtube video that a 12 year old could have done a better job on. This was despite the company sitting on the product release since mid 2014. Stop pulling sales people out of the field when numbers are poor to lock them in a hotel for training when you could have easily done a webinar. Stop promoting former Medicis managers into senior management roles when their territory decreased numbers from the prior year. Actually develop a customer loyalty program that brings the patients and doctors into the Galderma ecosystem. Not the garbage they rolled out. And how about introducing a product that doesn't have direct entrenched competition from Allergan? Mid face will do nothing against Voluma. Oh, then again we will be locked in a hotel for another week of training. AWAY from SELLING! It's the 21st century, not 1970.

Such BS! 175-225? LMAO. lucky to make 115-125 at this rate.
