I actually did go to Leila's this day. i was late, around 6:30pm. I cruised the parking lot for a convertible and didn't see one. Went inside, peaked my head in, saw only a couple at the bar, a few people at the tables so turned around and left. It's a bit dark and somber in there especially when it's rather empty. I did see a guy in the parking lot standing and very engaged in his pda.

Last night was so beautiful with the full moon. Great for a drive on the PCH.

Very Apropos ! I love "Being John Malkovich" that is a great show - almost as twisted as the leadership of my local biotech company !

The day continues to be glorious here - sun setting over the hills with a rose sunset transitioning to electric blue sky in the west. In case you are checking in, my dear, I am lingering near, so near, with Dr Kistler in hand. Lingering at the usual spot !

The original post was superb. I know "the man" from before, seems so long ago, so much water under the bridge, such a lost opportunity, ten years wasted.

Welcome back Science Gal ! So great to hear from you :) The Friday place remains tbd - maybe Lucky's in Montecito - just depends on the action on the beach ! There is always lunch on Saturday ?

Now moving forward with step 5 of the plan.

Thank you for the update on the R+D strategy. This is pure genius.

6. RIF in TO on 10/19. Stop by Lucky's in Montecito on the way home. Accept that it is
better to be Lucky than good. Accept Luck as the new strategy for Amgen R.

Today Is a sad day for R.
