5 Months and counting. No new product by January we are done.
Msl's jumping ship like its the titanic, Ofirmev marketing director quit last week, Zipline dead, Ofirmev- need I say more, stock plummeting, Acthar gel 28000 a dose- use to be 40. Insurance not wanting to pay these ridiculous prices.
We're trapped like rats!!!
 






Yeah, it's been close to a year of talking about developing the acute care team with complimentary products for inpatient. MT/MM certainly know how to drag down moral and confidence in the senior leadership team. A lot of HSS's are waiting for a few companies brining new agents out by years end or Q1. HR will be very busy in the future.
 


















I'm contemplating an offer to come on board as a hospital rep selling Ofirmev. But I'm having second thoughts after seeing the stock price fall so sharply and reading what's happening to this company. It will be a significant increase to what I'm making now but all that can disappear when layoffs happen 6 months from now.

Don't do it, extremely toxic environment. You'll be gone in less tgen 6 mths. Keep looking you'll find something better.

Where do you get the information about being gone in six months??? There is nothing to indicate this. Ofirmev will not sell itself!!! They need us!!! It sucks but we have a job!

Yeah, nothing indicates 6 month. It's more like 5 months.
Look at Xartemis, less than a year and they let the whole team go. Anyone who doesn't think there will be restructuring in Q1 if there is no new product is crazy.
Sure there will be people selling Ofirmev, but not as many.
If we make it past Q1 than I would say mid year. Especially if numbers continue to erode. The CAS team is first at risk of resizing.

Agree with you. Let's face it. New product acquisitions, particularly good product acquisitions are rare. Could MNK find another good product through another company acquisition? Sure but it seems unlikely given the enormous investment already made for 3 companies. MNK needs to show the street that it can grow the business that they have already acquired. Leadership has already reset exception downward on the product that the street cares about; Acthar. All this does it put even more pressure on OFMV. Combine this with the fact that the CFO has a mandate and is on a mission to reduce sales and administrative costs which only began with the OSS layoff. Fasten your seat belts.

6 mths if you're lucky. An indicator is that sales are down. Yes, Ofirmev won't sell itself but neither will the sales force. This company prices themselves out of their own market. The company's reputation is to screw over their customers. Yes there will be a select few reps still employed but that's not a job id want. I hear Taco Bell is hiring. You'd have more career growth working the fryer then selling $35 Tylenol

I find the Acthar price even more criminal. 28k per dose and around 250k for a course of therapy. It was 40 dollars at one time, then 1300, now 28k. Google the background and read, it will open your eyes to the corporate greed at the expense of the patient.
Throw that in with 36 buck Ofirmev and Pharmacy really dislikes the company.

WELL...... I CAN TELL YOU THIS MUCH. COMPANY STOCK DROPS 16 BUCKS DUE TO THE COMPANY RAISING PRICE 3 FOLD. AS IF YOU THE SALES FORCE AND MGMT DOESNT KNOW THIS ALREADY..... ACCESS IS LIMITED IF NOT COMPLETELY BLOCKED, PHARMACY DIRECTORS HATE THIS COMPANY FOR TRYING TO BLOW UP THEIR BUDGETS. CEO AT THIS COMPANY TRYING TO BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FOR WHAT? SO HE CAN TRIPLE THAT PRICE AS WELL? I PREDICT THAT BY END OF YEAR HALF OF SALES FORCE WILL BE OUT OF A JOB. PHARMA SUCKS AND WILL ONLY GET WORSE. ENJOY IT WHILE WE CAN BECAUSE OUR TIME HAS COME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.

It is sad, Loved my MSL, and now they are going to hire a bunch of Robots who dont do anything! I am sure they will all be gone soon.
